I'd want it all in writing.
Ditto. I've neither confirmed nor denied anything with these people and will, I think, suggest that they put everything in writing to me instead, should they call again.
Meanwhile I am keeping my bank informed.0 -
An update for you I sent them an email (uk@ggn.nl) and got the below reply.
Dear Sir, dear Madam,
We confirm receipt of your reaction in regards to the claim of our customer.
Due to the nature of your dispute, our customer advised us to close the case.
Kind reagards,
GGN
Hi Saram2 could you please share the email you sent to them? My partner has also received one of these letters today demanding £224.26 for a so called invoice from 31/07/2014. It would really help if you can show us what exactly you sent them so we can sort it out too.
Thank you in advance.0 -

Hi, I got one of these letters this weekend too and emailed them last night. I told them that I hadn't sent the tablets back to them because I never received them! I also threatened them with the Trading Standards Authority and the FCA if they didn't stop emailing me.
I got the same reply by email this morning.

Whatever you do, don't pay them!

Sorry for the late reply. Here is what I sent;
To whom it may concern,
I received a letter regarding a collection order from lean fast au. Last year I cancelled my credit card due to fraudulent activity on my account from this company. I have never ordered from this company or heard of them. Therefore I will not be paying any further money and I will report this letter to action fraud UK as I do not understand how you got my name and address details.0 -
This is the response i got from FCA:
"I thank you for your recent email regarding your concerns with the firm GGN Mastering Credit. I can appreciate why you have contacted the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
The Role of the FCA
Please be aware we don’t regulate companies that provide health supplements. We do regulate debt collection companies in the UK but for only certain things such as credit agreements.
For your assistance I have checked the Financial service register and the Interim permissions consumer credit register for GGN Mastering Credit and cannot see that this firm is authorised by the FCA.

A quick search has shown that this firms website states they are based in the Netherlands, I recommend you contact The Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets as they should be able to clarify if this firm is known to them.
Your next steps
I recommend that you contact the firm you bought the tablets from to clarify if they have passed your details onto a debt collection firm. If they state they have not then this may be a scam in which case you can report this to your local police alternatively you can contact Action Fraud as they are part of the City of London police and look at fraud issues.
If the firm states they have passed your details onto the debt collection firm, and you feel you do not owe them any money you can speak to your local Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) as they can refer you onto your local Trading Standards. The CAB can also provide you with free and impartial legal guidance.
I hope I have been able to clarify that as GGN Mastering Credit is collecting funds for a firm that provides health supplements this falls outside of the FCA remit and so our rules will not apply.
Yours sincerely
Luqman Ishaq
I want to send the email to GGN as others have but I am worried they will be able to access more information about me or use my email for further scams? Should I be worried or can I clear this up by emailing them? V. Worried0 -
I noticed today that Citizens Advice is conducting some new research into these 'subscription trap' deals and would like to hear from anyone who has had experience of them, to take part in an anonymous online survey:

Just an update for you all, I had a letter off them yesterday aswell so I emailed them telling them that I had cancelled within the 14 days and sent back the product told them that I had also been in touch with the financial services and I had an email back saying that they had been advised to close the case which I'm my eyes is a result and I've kept the email for future proof
Hales how long did it take them to reply regarding closing the case after you emailed them??
Anyone else got timescales - just emailed the shower of ****** and wouldn't mind knowing what sort of timescale I'm facing..p.s. I've been known as Glee long before that awful show appeared.....
