foreign debt collectors help please.... GGN Mastering Credit

Options
In september last year my wife took out a trial of some health tablets that were "free" we just needed to pay the postage these consisted of 2 sets of tablets, my wife phoned to cancel within the 14/30 days it was to cancel any further payments as she didnt want to continue recieving it.

We actually closed her account and made a new one to make sure the payment didnt come out.

After not hearing anything else since we had forgotten about it, but today she has had a letter from a Dutch debt collecter GGN Mastering Credit demanding £224.68.

We have looked online and it seems this is a scam and many people have fallen for it, any advice on where we stand would be great please.

Thanks in advance.

Tim.

It might be worth contacting the Financial Conduct Authority to see if they have consumer credit permission in the UK. This can be done at consumer.queries@fca.org.uk

    Tell them to go whistle.

People really shouldn't buy these tablets as they could contain lethal quantities of dangerous drugs.

I searched FSA and no matches were found so I will ignore the letters.
