I haven't read your other thread, but I think if you and your lady have split up, then she is lucky. I know far too many people who just want to string someone along until someone better comes along, even when they know the girl that they are with wants to be married (nb. wanting to be married being an entirely different concept to wanting to have a wedding day). I want to get married - to the right fella - and I am not ashamed of feeling like that. To me getting married means sharing my life and working with someone to achieve common goals. It doesn't necessarily come easy to choose to trust someone like that but I will. I think it's so sad that you are unable to put your money aside and make a decision from your heart. The once bitten, a million times shy attitude is going to put off very sensible, loving women who may not bring much financially to your union but who would be loyal and kind and who would enhance the rest of your life.
