Hello all.  Please could you enter my weight as STS due to not weighing myself this morning.  (Seem to have lost my diet and exercise routine a bit).
Pleased to say that I have replaced the outdoor bike with a new one which is the same type.  Consequently, just have had short trips, until I am confident that everything is working safely.  Still doing small gardening jobs e.g. transplanting plants, collecting any edible food and preparing land for eventually relocating some rose bushes.

    Thanks.

So sometimes I find the scale is 'kind to me', other times it is not. Whenever i get on the scale (too regularly), I guess what I think it should say based on how i feel about how I've eaten or how much I've exercised. Sometimes it is less than I guess, sometimes it is more. Sometimes it seems unfair, sometimes it seems too generous. I guess this is normal fluctuations of body weight, but I think it is important not to be deflated when the scale is 'unkind' and not to take too much credit when the scale is 'too kind'.

I weighed in yesterday and I was down -4.2lbs. This was already quite 'kind' in my opinion. I weighed myself again this morning, to check whether the scale had decided to revert on some of its kindness, and I was down another lb. That is just silly. Too much, I thought. If I bank that weigh in, I would probably be chasing that number next week and possibly have to weigh in with an official 'gain' because the scale had been too generous the previous week.

The reason I am sharing this with you is that this journey, to me, is all about psychology. How the scale makes my feel and how I feel about myself are inextricably linked.

efrieze, thanks for your above thoughts regarding the scales and the psychological aspects.  Good luck with your "journey".  I tend to experience times of "avoiding" the scales rather than weighing myself "too regularly".  However, did weigh myself yesterday (a day early) and my weight has STS since 22/9/2021.

Diet and exercise has been better.  Exercise activities last week were a short walk, gardening tasks, more use of the indoor bike and "testing" the new outdoor bike.  Just the indoor weights not being done.

September 2021 outdoor bike miles were estimated at 47 miles ( i.e. one bike ride was unrecorded).

    Thanks.

STS since 5/10/2021.  Very similar to last week regarding diet and exercise.  However, a more lengthier walk was done and it was noticeably much easier, than the same one about a year ago.  Also, purchased a big bag of compost for the tasks of transplanting various bushes soon.  Best of luck everybody.

    Thanks.

It's a 2.8lbs loss for me this week. I have been very active doing running, walking, spin class, kettlebell, body attack and body
pump this week. It's paying off!

This week's win - I now weigh 12stone something (having started at 21stone something).

I also now fit into my smallest set of clothes (from last time I was this size, 13 years ago).

14.6lbs to go until I reach my target that I set in January.
