Well done Dan83 - that's a great achievement - keep it up1 -
Another month down and on 01/03/24 I was….. 119.4kg, 18st11lbs.
its looking unlikely I’ll hit my target of 115kg for April. I need to take some time off dieting at some point and see if I can maintain a weight for a period of time. I can’t be diet for ever and I’m certainly not going back to 147kg.
keep up the hard work everyone!0 -
First of the month is weigh day!
Been dreading this day for a while, March has seen two big nights out where a lot of alcohol was consumed. I got new work pants, although they fit me properly (which is nice) and I’m not constantly pulling them up, the fact they fit is making me feel as if I’ve put weight on, although I know it’s a mental thing it’s still hard to get it out my head. My old clothes which was starting to fit again are now starting to get big on me. I’ve also blown the dust off my push bike the last 2 weeks, I’ve been out 4 times and covered about 25 miles altogether. I’ve also been logging my walks, during March I walked 108km, this is not including walk around in work or shops or what ever.
My parents bought me a new gym top instead of an Easter Egg (I get my gym gear from next, next own brand and would highly recommend it, good quality at a reasonable price with out some stupid name across the front) which annoyingly didn’t fit (too big).
so anyway, weigh day…….. 😩
My partner was in work at 8am this morning, I took her to work, came home and went straight for a 3 miles walk (in the rain) got home at 9am and the in-laws was picking my daughter up at 10am, made her some breakfast and chilled for a bit and she went out. I put my shoes and coat back on, dug a pound out of the cup holder in my car and walked to the gym (still raining).
so anyway…….
Get there, kick my shoes off, take my coat off, stand on the machine and put my pound in, I’m dreading this 😩.
The machine does its thing, takes weight, height, tells me to squeeze the handles and out comes the receipt. 115kg, 18st1lb!
10lb loss in March (11 if you include the pound for the machine)! I’m made up and can’t stop smiling, I see two women, strangers stood the the swimming pool changing room door talking. I said excuse me can I but in for a moment, tell them my news, I just had to tell someone and they gave me a high five, I walked home (again in the rain) with the biggest smile on my face for ages!
I’ll take the family out for dinner tonight to celebrate, I might even push the boat out and have chips, nah who I am kidding, I’m not eating chips!
1st April 2024 115kg, 18st 1lb.
