A colleague has signed up to this deal which seems decent value at less than £1/GB:

TY for the link for offer, but it is long contract and not a SIM plan, that I was after. decent value for whoever need one, but apart from my tablet, to be dragging another thingy... I'll pass on this one for now.

practical experience with GiffGaff (o2)
I am almost laughing now... or crying, or both...
TPO and iD are delirious over tethering of own data allowances.
3 speeds and reception weren't great, CS only so so, but they really pulled my nerve when stood by scammers in dishing out my money.
Delight- side-kick of Vectone, seemed as good value but CS and general practice's I will not use them.
EE, not that bad, but reception is "patchy" and coverage maps don't really tell practical experiences of poor-no reception black spots, as for CS seemed reasonable, also is known to be standing by scammers (as 3) in the case of disputes. anw, Used it, under expired offer £10 -100gb a month was good offer, but not in a long run.
and Here I am using GfGf... two photographs (3.6 and 3.8mb) I failed to upload to send by email in 5 minutes, no less, with reception indicating 4bars.
to DL their 7.9mb app it taken almost 5minutes.
and as for number transfer it is not ported yet, but hope will happen soon...and they can sure at the end of a month- I'll take it elsewhere, where to tho?
All of the marketing, money paid and wasted, it seems to be lack of plain simple decent service, value for money?0 -
omg , omg...
data (3g) on a phone was slow, tethering to tablet- awful, on pc- hilariously bad and slow...
tested and played enough, now using Tello tethering (PAYG- expensive, as not a bundle)
but surely, without any doubt GfGf (o2) 3g data is absolutely worse of all ever used.
considering ever so few alternatives remaining, I am considering "chain" and going back to the "so so" EE with 12mnth dongle...
any last minute suggestions for testing alternatives to just bearable big EE?0 -

Do you realise that's a tablet tariff?
The handset tariffs are at https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/simplicity/#/tariffs?deviceType=phone&contractLength=P30D
5GB is £23.80 a month====0 -
Yes,
As per topic name...
Also, as per my needs(facilities) having multi SIM phone...
BUT even bigger NNOOOO, as tested reception on o2 in 3G mode, in areas of where I use them most where bad, really bad performing network (GiffGaff)0 -
But then...4G+

Almost bareable deals for data alone, perhaps having any cheap card for the calls would be the best way forwards after all...
My bad... Links on mobile pharsed differently
