OK,
https://www.whitemobile.com
Ordered new sim, unsure about much or even pricing for data for now...
Will update first post in accordance!
Make sure you keep using the Sim, if I recall correctly they will deactivate very quickly if you don't, it was under 60 days last time I tried them.====0 -
OK, her's the irony:
The absolutely clearly most hated Voda in the area of our new offices has best reception- always; second most hated 3.co.uk had joint best with O2, but I have moved my numbers to the best offer EE (great CS) and Delight (joke of an CS) and both have next to 0 and in majoritty of areas I end up working inn for reception/speed/quality and even 2G signal strength.
Received WhiteMobile SIM, here's few detail's as what's on offer:

unfortunately data usage is ridiculously over'priced

and here's the list of an what's on offer for international calls destinations:

not good to me at all!
Funnily enough my credit has not been added to the Deligh for joining them, already used up that extra £10 I put inn, so the least to say, I am looking again as what network to "test" next, as that bunch is not worth staying and reasoning with...????0 -
Vectone CS is hit and miss, first guy was an idiot, the second call the guy knew his job, the third call the issue was resolved instantly as the second guy done his job and had emailed provisioning.
The issue was the Vectone app was logged in with the Vectone sim issued number and the PAC in meant the old number didn't exist in the server so incoming calls were disconnected when calling whilst outgoing calls and texts either way worked. Simply had to log out the V app and re-register for My Vectone/Vectone app after the number port in.
Vectone app which means your mobile battery dies you can login and call and text from a tablet, Android and iOS and Windows apps, this feature far stands out from all the other networks WiFi calling, being any OS of the big 3 is supported.
EE wifi calling must be from the actual mobile, o2 TuGo dont support prepaid customers...Vectone prepaid or contract are both supported with standalone mobile/tablet/pc apps. Logged in both the app and mobile ring on different devices. The £10 unlimited deal is a bargain.
Vectone also do email support again none of the others do.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -
"Update"... Sort of....
Still got my EE (summer offer SIM) happy with data allowances and speed (and costs for now) when in reception areas...
Got my Tello, almost happy with service and costs, not happy in being forced to use as main data connection and SIM, else no (2G) service.
Got PAC from Delight ( quick CS, post poor performance) it still used EE network, so " no hard feelings" and farewell.
By the looks of it I am meant to port my number to....? GiffGaff ( as already aware) poor value for money for data and speeds (appart from silly roaming charges and in general "lost and outdated" in pricing) or....
Or somebody would suggest something else to try in this quest?
Don't get me wrong- I do it as much for a finding decent single supplier for my own self, also for the sake of practical education, as to say.
...also, I noted, that apart from EE , 3.co.uk based networks, there's almost no decent supplier's with data deals on O2 and Voda? Is it beginning of the end to those money making and no investments or is there something, that "industry" is hiding from me?
Cheers! Look forward for suggestions!0 -

holly (thread) resurrection! :P
OK need to catch up with things, as what should/could/would I try next as there where massive changes in price plans etc
EE summer promotion ended and new plan with 2GB is £12
GiffGaff seems to have their plans altered, to have permitted tethering for up to 6GB, but at a price plan of £18 PCM or 4GB- £15
TPO unfortunately still stuck screaming about restrictions on tethering- will have to walk away from them again... and their 31GB plan from £19.99 now would cost you £49.99 o.O yuk!
iD mobile has implemented limit on all plans at 10GB, but unsure if they do tethering restrictions lately? but for those with little care for minutes (100+) and three network quality-speed-coverage usage could be good alternative? shame we had no posters with practical (experience) feedback about CSShockProof £20.00 a month
Plan iD: SP20-IC189-1 2000 minutes 5000 texts 10GB data 1 month
or
GoTo £20.00 a month
Plan iD: GT20-IC188-1 2000 minutes 5000 texts 10GB data 1 month
Still happy with Tello, as per say, when using as PAYG and tariffs (and CS), but as per main number for all of the data their plans aren't that good.
and Vectone (or Delight- same company) tested- walked way due to the CS and general business practices
Any more recommendations or comments in this quest?0 -

(One does, one doesn't allow tethering, right?)
No, iD Mobile do not allow tethering on any of their handset price plans.
5.3.4 tethering (unless explicitly stated in your Agreement with us), downloading, sending or uploading content of an excessive size, quantity or frequency. We will contact you if your use is excessive;

Any such use shall give us the right to charge you any Charges due and terminate the Services immediately.
