;68758851]Not sure where my job comes into this. I hope this is not going down the lines of "These people who earn loads don't deserve it because they're all stupid really and lack common sense. Not like us who work hard for a living"
You job only comes into it because from what you've posted previously I formed an opinion (obvioulsy erroneously) that you were capable of accepting a number of posters points that you had in fact accused this girl of theft.
I don't actually care how much you earn.
But in my company, someone who jumped to such conclusions based on so little facts would be in trouble, regardless of how good they were at their job.

    Sorry I call a spade a spade.
No, you called a young Eastern European girl a thief.
;68758851] The FACTS are:-

    1) Not only are cleaners ideally placed to nick things being in your house, it does happen a lot. Fact.
It doesn't follow that this girl stole your son's headphones.
;68758851]
    2) There is lots of crime in this country caused by Eastern European immigrants - It is a fact.

    3) Its gone missing. At the moment, there is no explanation. Theft is one of the possibilities.
I would agree that theft is one of the possibilities.
One of the other possibilities is that someone other than your cleaner took the headphones.
;68758895]Maybe I just have a life and don't get a kick out of causing arguments with strangers on internet forums. Lot of people on there who seem to have build up quite a life for themselves doing that.

You can guarantee that WHATEVER you post there will be someone who will come along and say:-

    1) You don't want to do it like that.
    2) Its your fault in the first place.
    3) Your a scrounger/scumbag.
    4) Your thick but I know it all.

    Or all 4.

Do you know what - I might create a new user, make up a fictional post and test my theory.
That is what you leave yourself open to when you post on an open forum

May I suggest that if you dont like opinions thats do not agree with what you want to hear, you dont post?

There has been no abuse to you on this thread. You might not like that people have called you on what you have posted but there has been no abuse from anyone other then yourself to other posters

And there's a whole lot more crime caused by English/Scottish/Welsh/Irish citizens in this country, so why feel the need to tar your cleaner with the same brush as Eastern European criminals.

If she did steal the headphones, she's doing you a favor, Beats headphones are crap. You could get much better at a fraction of the price.

edit: Am I the only who thinks this post is part showboating/gloating about being able to afford a cleaner and having expensive things lying about? Wish I was that well off, which may be the point.

I've no idea what starting this thread was intended to achieve.

The title itself appears to throw doubt on the honesty of this cleaner.

I don't know what advice the OP expected or wanted to get.

  • Yes once again the "pack" are here and this forum degrades to what it usually becomes - a place for sad cases to have a dig. Well there we go then - have fun.
