Nationwide - Refer a Friend

Thanks for the quick responses, now I look again I can see GO at the bottom right of the page! Too subtle for me:o
I got him to sign up for TCB which should get me £15 as referrer and him £10 from TCB then he will get about £34 from TCB if he applies for a FlexAccount through them, a bit low at the moment but recently Santander and Co op seem to have gone from TCB so maybe banks are getting near their subscription limit for some accounts.
Point taken YB re him not applying too soon, no chance of that!0 -

Had a 'secure message' from someone at the complaints team saying they have done no wrong!
"After speaking with the relevant business area, I can confirm that your name was quoted incorrectly on the online ‘Recommend a Friend’ referral form. This must have been an error on their side as it definitely was not put in wrong at this end.
As we manually reviewed the application after you brought this to our attention and the Current Account switch made does meet the offer conditions, I am pleased to tell you that we have now processed this for you. They did this part right.
Whilst I appreciate your comments, I have been unable to identify any Society error on this occasion. I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my response and hope that my findings and explanation have helped to clarify matters." This has been full of mistakes on their part!I Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -
I currently have a joint account with my partner at nationwide, which we use purely for our household bills & mortgage which is also with nationwide.
I'm considering switching my personal TSB account as I'm unhappy with the service recently.
If my partner referred me through our joint account, would we then get the £100 paid into both my new personal account, and the joint account for me opening a new account under this "recommend a friend" offer?0 -

Both finally received £100 each today, that should have been paid in Sept 15.
No compensation for their mistakes though
Got there in the end but what a rigmarole!I Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -
