And I'm sure fuzzgun19 will appreciate you taking the trouble to post that. Clearly it's a lot more helpful than a terse three word response, "not for me".

You mean you did not understand that "not for me" means "you could look into using the 1899 service"? tz tz tz

Thanks for the tip Mable, I didn't think of this, and have just messaged.

If nothing comes of that, I will try Ian011's suggestion, and last resort I will use the dreaded 0845
So they have messaged back and just said:

    "Thanks for your message.
We've been made aware of an issue with these payments which has unfortunately resulted in them being delayed until the 20th of October. I realise this isn't ideal but I do apologise and you'll receive these payment then.
If there is anything else I can help you with, please reply to this message or give our 24/7 Customer Service Centre a call on 0800 302011"

Send a complaint online as this is totally unacceptable. You should get at least a goodwill payment.

    Good luck!

I did.. I selected the 'complaint' heading. Guess I'll just have to call them.

  • Going by a letter I had today, it seems there is now a dedicated freephone number for FlexDirect 0800 357 357

Update on my situation, I sent them a formal complaint by letter, and I then get a phone call from 0800 281801 saying they've received my letter, and saying I (we) are eligible and have met the criteria, and we will get the £100 (each) but not until 20th Oct.
I did also get the £25 goodwill, which was in my account the next day.

Now for my friend to send the letter.

Myself and friend (DH) both received remittance in the post today, and one 'lot' of £100 each is in our banks.

The are still looking into DH's complaint following his letter and we're waiting to hear.

Has anyone who tried to combine the TCB £78 and RAF in one application had either one of these parties refusing to payout due to being used in conjunction with each other (which would appear to breach the T&C)? From reading this thread it appears that applications from a few months ago seemed to be successfully combining both in one application but wanted to check and see if this is still the same or anyone encountered issues more recently? (I have an existing Flex Account that had been planning to switch for the RAF and then open another one for the TCB payout but if can do in one application then saves me requiring an additional donor account.)

(I'm also planning on doing the Coop switch on TCB and see this explicitly mentions that you do get Coop's switching bonus too.)

    Thanks.
