There is no reason to describe anyone as scum here, especially if all (they say) they are doing is buying and selling to make a profit. Does anyone else think everyone who sells things on eBay for more than they paid for it is scum?People like... Apart from the drive being 250gb, the rest of the description could make people think they were old stock dell were trying to get rid of. For a start they were advertised as Fire Wire drives (ok they had usb as well but the ad was fire wire) there are possibly people posting here that possibly didn't/don't know what fire wire is as USB2 came and virtually killed it. The spec states win98, etc, but no vista also the minimum spec states a pentium 300mhz.
Could be very reasonable to assume its a good price for an older external hard drive.Welcome, rogerramjet.

This is as well as the fact that 250gb is becoming more and more old news.rogerramjet wrote: »Apart from the drive being 250gb, the rest of the description could make people think they were old stock dell were trying to get rid of. Anyone who is a regular on this forum should know that people who have to scrabble to earn a living are scum. If you don't have a shed load of cash and have to rely on finding great deals to make a living then you are obviously not the sort of person that most MSErs want to mix with. In short, you are TRADE, and therefore to be avoided at all costs. There is no reason to describe anyone as scum here
To make it easy in future can the sort of person who will actually gain as a result of finding a bargain on MSE please get stuffed, and leave the deals for those of us to whom it will make absolutely no financial difference whatsoever.
Cheers
