Was hoping to keep this one quiet, but as Ian says, the cat is out of the bag, thanks to HUKD "discovering it " just after 9pm tonight.

At least our orders went in during the day if any of these drives existed, and I have an estimated delivery date if that means anything.

I feel another "Dear John" email a commin'.

Same here. I ordered one the last time around & didn't get it. If it happens again, I'll be sending a stern complaint to Dell, because the last time they didn't supply it the excuse for non-delivery was that they weren't being made any more. Going by their website, they're being made again. :rolleyes:

Well, if mines cancelled I will be pursuing again, although I don't think I'll get £150.00 back this time as they would have dropped in value since last time

I got an email at 14.32 as follows

The product code and price of your order related to a completely different product, and was incorrectly linked to the description of the Iomega Hard Disc Drive you requested. In fact, this is a discontinued product and is no longer in stock.
Due to this, your Dell Order Iomega Order Number:XXXXXXXX has been cancelled. Within the next 5 working days any pre-authorisation on your credit/debit card will be cancelled and we will refund to your card any money already collected.

Since they don't appear to have taken any money from my account i'll have to put it down to a lost bargain
