Disneyland Paris/EuroDisney - Questions & Answers

I think the debit/credit card charge fee is the same, and its now £14. I suspect it was originally £9 when it was first introduced, but its gone up.0

OMG - just started a fake booking on DLP site out of interest, and put in the Disneyland Hotel (for early December) - my goodness it's expensive!! Is it always that expensive? Nearly £1000 more for the package than Cheyenne!!! Is that because of the time of year???
Clare x
priced up for 1 night in march for 4 ,and it was like £500 !! :eek:0 -
I expected it to be more expensive due to location (afterall, it's in the perfect location) but I suppose I was just surprised by the extent of the increase! lol
Anyway, fab news, we got free tickets from the Sky deal for this year!! So OH and I have a free day pass, and DD will still be 2 so she'll be free!! Booked the day passes for Monday 10th September! We have clubcard vouchers for the Eurotunnel, and we'll be in London visiting family just before anyway.... so we;re planning on heading down into France on the Sunday, staying in a cheap hotel, day in Disney, driving back up on the Tuesday! Planning on aiming for the shows, parades, and a few of the really small rides.
So I know there's an ETAP nearby that's v cheap - what other hotels are cheap and close??
Oh and is there anyway of booking the disney hotels completely seperate to the tickets? (really just to compare prices out of interest)
I know we need to take into account parking charges too, so I'll weight that up with all the options - but people have mentioned the multistory by the Village being cheaper?? How do I find my way to that?? I haven't been to DLP for years, but I remember on the odd occassion that we have parked there (day trip!) that we've just been directed to the main car park..... How do I get to the multistory instead??
Thanks all.

Sounds like a nice cheap trip - well done! We booked the Santa Fe room only with Expedia for March and they had other Disney hotels too. Think I've read though that Expedia only have this option early in the year (Jan/Feb/March) though so might not help you out.0 -
Just popping in to say bye, as doing the last minute packing, get the train to london tomorrow then eurostar to disney for 5 nights on sun, will give a report once home
Cant wait0 -

Of course, Expedia, forgot about them. Right, just looked - £264 at the Santa Fe for 2 nights. Seems expensive! The Adagio looks interesting - it seems the cheapest hotel to have a shuttle to the park (saves on driving in and parking!), but the studio room seems a bit weird?! Mostly sofa beds?! Has anyone stayed in an Adagio Studio??
I dreamt about Disney last night....!! lol

if you're driving, any hotel in bussy st georges or val d'europe will suit really well, as they are close by. As well as the Etap/formula 1 chain, there is the B&B chain, Campanile, oh there are loads. If you go on somewhere like travelrepublic or expedia, and type in hotels only for "Disneyland Paris" they'll come up.

for September, no Disney tends not to release its onsite hotels on a room only basis. You could call Disney to ask, but be prepared for the room only prices to be as expensive as, or more expensive, than a hotel/tickets package would be.

just head for The Disney Village - it signposted as you approach DLP. Then you'll find the signs for the Village car park. Its currently 8 euros per day to park there, around double that to park in the main park car park.
Thanks all.

hope this helps, and great news about booking a little taster trip in September with your Sky tickets.

The Adagio and the L'Elysee val d'europe share the same shuttle bus, it starts each day at around 8.45am, so that time would be fine for getting to the park and exchanging your Sky vouchers for park tickets. I think the last bus back is around 8.30pm though, and the parks may be open later than that in September. However, the single train fare for an adult to val d'europe (one stop and literally 2 minutes on the train) is only about 1.80 euros.0 -
balletshoes - has anyone ever told you how wonderful you are??
Right, I'm going off to discuss all this with OH over the weekend!! Thank you to everyone who's helped so far!!

Wow that is expensive - just looked to see if they automatically included park tickets for that price or something but no, it's just for the room!! It's a completely different season so not a proper comparison, but we are paying £49/night (Mon/Tue/Wed) the last week in March...bit of a difference!
I've seen the Adagio recommended on here quite a lot so it could be a good option. Someone (RachieB?) has stayed there at least a couple of times and I'm sure will be able to give you some more details on the rooms etc.
Oh and I love that you had Disney dreams last night - how fun!!0
