Thanks balletshoes - good to know.
Speaking of the Kyriad - we booked the hotel thru Expedia but all we have received, confirmation wise, is the "booking request" email from Expedia (which says another email will follow within 24hrs) back November. The 2nd email didn't arrive but my account @ Expedia says the booking is confirmed. Should I take this booking request email with me ?0 -
yes, take whatever you've had from Expedia with you to the Kyriad - and enjoy your trip

Where is the best place to get DLP park tickets from?
Looking for both parks and for 5 days. Would be great if we could find somewhere which actually gave me the tickets rather than something I had to print and swap - I hope that makes sense! Thanks!Spreading a little Christmas joy all year round :santa2:0 -

if you want 5-day tickets you'll be cheaper buying an annual pass. check DLRPmagic for lots of great information on annual passes. cemultiavantages have great deals on annual passes for DLP at the moment, including free under-7s passes when you buy an adult pass, and you can pay a little more for them to send you a ticket instead of you printing off a voucher.

Got tickets on the Sun Disney Deal during Half term for two separate days. Would it be possible to stay overnight even though they are both 1-day return deals?
Or would it be best to book a single from Calais to Dover to avoid any problems.
Anyone know the cost of booking the P&O ticket at Calais itself or would it be safer to book online before we go?0 -
Hello all, just been directed here by a helpful poster. I am looking to go to Disney for two nights, around April.
I have a free ticket for two of us for the park so will use that for one day and maybe see the sites the other day.
It will be me, my gf and our one year old.
Really hoping to get a decent price and travel on Eurostar from London!
Thanks to anyone that can help0 -

If I remember correctly (didn't pay that much attention to be honest as we are only using the tickets, not the ferry crossing) there was something in the Sun T&C along the lines of if you don't use the outbound portion of your ferry ticket, then the return isn't valid. In other words, you can't use the first "day trip" to go out and the second to come back. So yes, you will I think have to make some kind of alternative arrangement for the way home. Not sure on the best way of booking that as being 'up north' we've never even considered the ferry as a valid option for us.0 -
Hi all - long time lurker first time poster. Just wanted to thanks all who have contributed to the thread I gained loads of useful info for our trip and had a fab time. Thought I would share my experience with you guys.
Stayed in Santa Fe 3 nights. Arrived Thursday - was able to check into rooms at 11.00. Rooms clean, comfy and very warm.
Headed to park which was really quiet. Most rides we got straight on and ran around and got on again. Did pirates 3 times in a row lol!
Friday did brekkie at 7.30 it was fairly quiet but was getting busy about half eightish - not manic mind!
In park at opening time as no EMH on Friday. Again was quiet on and off rides and very short wait times eg max 10 mins. Had a brill day and enjoyed parade. We stood outside the Disney castle and as the part in front was covered over due there was only us on one side. This meant all characters waved at us and princes and princesses walked right down the front of us all. Worked out better than main street.
On Friday me and the girls went to Auberge de Cendrillion for the Princess meal. All I can say is Wow!!! I loved it and so did my girls. Beautiful surroundings. Food fancy but lovely and was nice to try something different. Princess's took my girls to dance to the music. They were very attentive and told my girl's what beautiful little girl's they were. Autographs signed and lots of pictures taken.
Saturday - wow really busy and very very cold!! Tip to anyone going soon - thermals thermals thermals. My family had thermals, fleeced coats, gloves etc and we managed but some families were not prepared and looked frozen.
For lunch went to Mickey Mouse Cafe. This was also fab. Lots of characters and interactions. We shared 2 pizzas, 3 chips and all had a drink and it came to 60 euros - and the food was lovely. I would def go again.
Sunday was quite busy again but did EMH and got a good few rides in. Please not however the wait times on the weekend are misleading for example at the parachute drop it said 25 mins and the queue was shorter than the marker my DH and DS queued for 1 hour and the same happened on the crush rollercoaster 20 mins wait took 55 mins.
Overall however we had a magical time an thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Lots of washing to get on with now:):)
