Disneyland Paris/EuroDisney - Questions & Answers

Gday
we are going to be in Rotherham in April and seeing as we have come all the way from Oz, thought we would take our 6 yr old son to Disneyland Paris.
Would love any information on package deals, whether it cheaper to book thru Disneyland site, or thru a travel agent.
We would be flying out of either Manchester or Doncaster. Probably for 2 nights/3days.
Any information will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

The official Disneyland Paris website (choose UK as the country) is having a flash sale, up to 50% off, right now, and for the next 2 days. It includes some April dates, if you can get a 50% off deal you won't get a better price than that to be honest.
Book your flights separately (check each airports website to see which carrier flies to Paris from there), and then transfers from the airport to the resort separately also. Also consider flying from a bit further afield from Rotheram and getting a budget airline flight (easyjet etc).0 -
It looks like Pirates of the Caribbean is going to be open on the 17th and 18th March when I'll be there! That's great news for ds, he'd love that I reckon! :j
Our son was gutted when it was closed when we went for the day last year.
You can imagine, we made sure it was going to be open when we were deciding when to go this year.
PS: Only 6 sleeps to go :T0 -

Have I missed something with the Pirates of the Caribbean? Is this just because it's new or is it closed for some parts of the year?
Thanks0 -

All the rides and attractions at DLP are closed at various times of the year for maintenance and refurbishment - you can check usually a couple of months ahead of your visit on DLRPMagic and the official DLP site, whats scheduled for closure.0 -
Oh right, I didn't know that
Thanks for the info, I will check out the site a bit closer to our hol0 -

Hi I have just booked tickets for june 4th through sky and am now looking for some advice on making the most of our day with ds's 6&8 on a budget for our 1st trip there!
We will be going from Southampton, so I guess driving to dover is best, and then maybe euro tunnel? I looked direct and it said £96 but looking at 'ferry to france' site it said we could book for £48? Anyone used that site? www.aferry.com sounds too good to be true?
Also thinking its best to travel on the 3rd and stay in a hotel, then go to park for 4th and return that night? So any recomendations on where to book a cheap room not too far from park, or maybe reasonable price for disney hotel?
Hoping someone can help point us in the right direction and give advice on the best way to make the most of the free tickets
Thanks in advance0
