Disneyland Paris/EuroDisney - Questions & Answers

Hi everyone, have been reading this thread for ages, such a lot of invaluable info. Jumped on the Sky deal & just booked for 3 Adults 1 Child thr Consort Travel for 2nts in the Explorers Hotel 6-7 June. As 2 free Adult tickets incl, just wondering if anyone knows if the "kids under 7 years say'n'play free" would apply? Checked both sites T&Cs but it doesn specifically mention it. Otherwise will keep fingers crossed for Tesco CC deal coming in April.
Pretty sure "kids under 7 stay and play free" only applies for hotel/park bookings direct with Disney. It certainly doesn't apply to 2 adults just turning up at DLP for the day and expecting the kids to get in for nothing0 -

but as there are 3 Adults I was thinking about buying the extra adult ticket through DLP if it mean't the child would be free. Thanks to Balletshoes reply now understand it doesn't apply to says in the "partner" hotels. Still over the moon with the deal, we've not been since 2005 and will be the youngest's first trip.

Hi Dee, it's la croix du vieux pont in Berney Riviere.
Went to La Croix twice last year and going again in July!! :j I just brought a few essentials for the 1st day and then ventured out to the larger supermarket for the rest. The site does have it's own small shop and bakery. Obviously they are a little more expensive than the larger shops but there is nothing like fresh baguettes and croissants for breakfast. It's only a very small village that is near the campsite but there are a couple of large towns within 15-20 minutes drive.....Soissons and Compiegne. Both have supermarkets with a very large variety of foods.
The site also runs a coach service to Disney and to Paris a few times a week depending on the season. It's defo worth getting the coach to Paris or you could drive to Soissons or Compiegne and get the train. I would not drive into Paris itself.
There are a few places on site to eat and a rather nice restaurant about 10 minutes away called Chez Micheline (booking in advance is advised for this as it's only small and very popular).0 -
Wow thanks for all the info Dee
We too are a bit nervous about driving into Paris so the coach sounds fab. Do they run all day?
Glad we've picked a nice sight, it must be good if you're on your third visit!
We are planning to take as much food as possible towards breakfasts and dinners so we only have to pay for teas out. We might venture out into the two towns you have mentioned then. We're okay with driving abroad.. just not in Paris city lol.
I've googled Chez Micheline but can't find anything on a site to book - any ideas for any contact details?
Thanks again for all the info - i've jotted it all down0 -

Chez Micheline is a small local place, just book when you get there.or email the site and they should be able to give you the number ( they are usually quick to reply and very friendly / helpful)
We love La Croix but havent been since the pool has been refurbed,so it will be even better now
in regards to evening meals,TBH the days we weren't @ Disney we just made our own meals. To save a bit of cash after spending lots in Disney lol ! the pizza takeaway was ok last time we were there.meals in the onsite restaurant werent great, but ok.
we have never yet ventured into Paris in all our times @ Disney / the area ! but would prob not go on the sites coach trip, but get the train as mentioned0 -

Wow it seems very popular :j That's good news for us, as it's the first time we've been so we know it must be nice
We did think about doing the same as you've mentioned and getting some pizzas etc and making our own meals, especially if we have been out and about all day in Disney or Paris as we'll be able to have some chill out time and a glass of two of wine
I have emailed the site for the number, thanks for the advice - I never thought of that
Oh lovely thanks alot. I'll have a good look at that when the kids are in bed and I can think straight!
Thanks for your replies they've been really useful I've made loads of notes

It looks like Pirates of the Caribbean is going to be open on the 17th and 18th March when I'll be there! That's great news for ds, he'd love that I reckon! :jThere's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0
