I can't post the link as I'm a newbie, but if you click through from the front page of Ce Multiavantages and select the dream passport, this info is in French, but dropping into google translate it says:
Is that right? Children <7 years free with paying adult? The dlrpmagic site saysyears. Which is right? Anyone know? There's a few places online that suggest this to be the case, but can't find anything no the official website to confirm this...
Yep thats correct. We looked at these last year, but as our son was only 2 when we were due to travel we couldn't get him one.COMP WINS FOR HUBBY & I SINCE SEPTEMBER:2 £50 DOMINOS VOUCHERS, 13 PAIRS OF FOOTBALL TICKETS, MICROSOFT HOME EDTN, 2 PAIRS OF ALTON TOWERS TICKETS, 1 CASE OF PERCY PIGS, 1 PAIR OF LEATHER LADIES GLOVES, 4 COLLECTION 2000 PRODUCTS, PLAYSTATION 3 WITH FIFA 12, 5* HOTEL STAY IN LONDON, SEASON 6 OF SUPERNATURAL DVD, PERFECT PIZZA VOUCHER0 -

the cemultiavantages annual pass offer is a special deal with them, but perfectly legitimate. If your child is at least 3 years old, but under 7 years old when you activate your annual passes (ie go to DLP and get them at the annual pass office) then yes, you get the child's annual pass free.
If your child is under 3 years old, you can't get the free pass for them because they don't need a park ticket or annual pass at all to enter the park, they are free anyway.0 -
Hi all,
Looking for a bit of advice on my first visit to Disneyland
There will be 2 adults and 3 children (although the eldest is considered an adult as is 13) and we'd like to go in May.
I am thinking that 3 or more days is ideal to try and see most things and from reading chunks of this thread it seems that annual passes may work out better value for us, especially when I add in the free parking (if we got Dream passes). If we were to get these passes then how would we get the free parking on the first day?
sorry no idea, I don't drive to DLP
I've also seen lots of people mentioning shareholder discounts, the Disneyland Paris website says I could use the shareholder discount and the family discount (for buying 5 passes), does anyone have any experience of doing this? If so how much did this work out as per pass?
yes, a few members of the DISboards have done this already. If you are buying 5 of the same type of annual pass all at the same time, for members of the same family, you are entitled to 20% off each pass for the family discount, plus 15% off each pass for the shareholders discount. These discounts are combineable, and are the only time where a shareholders discount can be combined with another discount. So, on a Dream annual pass costing 199 euros, that would be reduced by 35%, so it would cost 129 euros per pass.
All your children need to be aged at least 3 years old to be able to do this though, as an under-3 doesn't need a park ticket or annual pass to enter the parks, they are free.
Didn't think it would be so complicated but the prices to stay on-site are really high for May at the minute, are these likely to come down at all? The good deals seem to be only for stays until the end of April at the minute. Ideally I'd love to stay at a Disney hotel as it is our first experience.
I personally don't think May prices will come down this year - May has a lot of French public holidays in it so it will be a fairly busy month at DLP.
We will be flying over and possibly renting a car or using the TGV depending on whether we can afford a Disney hotel!
Any help would be greatly appreciated
there are 6 very nearby hotels which have free shuttle buses to the parks if you decide not to go onsite (so you wouldn't need to hire a car) - these are the L'Elysee val d'Europe, the Adagio apartments, the Explorers, Magic Circus, Dream Castle, and Kyriad hotels. You can get quotes for all of those through various online agents (don't go through Disney) or the individual hotels' own websites.0 -
CathJo have a look at shared or private shuttle transfer costs with the likes of rstransports or ezyshuttle.com. These are the most convenient and usually the quickest way of getting from CDG to DLP, and often cheaper than the other methods too.
And if you think you might need a pushchair there, take your own. You can't take the park ones from park to park, or park to hotel, without paying a hefty deposit (I think its over 50 euros) and if you're going for 3 days in the parks, the normal hire charge alone would be nearly 27 euros - you could buy a cheap lightweight puschair for that!0 -
Thanks for replies all.
Dream tickets @ 150 EUR is awesome if only for the free park strollers!
We went to legoland last year and had one of these for the last day of our trip for our 4yr + 18m daughters, we wished we'd used them the whole trip (although these aren't free @ legoland on annual pass the moneygrabbers)

We are there 5 nights so 6 days in the park, we are half board and planning on using brekkie bits to make up a lunch. We have back packs with hydration bits so will be carrying 3.5 litres of water between me and hubby.
So thinking hopefully will only be ride pictures and toys for kids.
Am I being stingy thinkg of £500 for the week spending money, thinking of £300 for bits for the kids and £200 for other bits.
There are 5 of us 2 adults and 3 kids
We are a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 kids... and we'll be taking the same amount for spending money - We are going for 7 days.
We have breakfast and dinner covered (Half board plus vouchers) so we'll only be using our spending money on snacks/lunch, drinks and souvenirs.
We took the same amount on our last trip to disney ( we went for one day less) and still come back with about £120 and that was buying anything we wanted and not trying to watch what we were spending.0 -

Ok I've got one last question...the hotel discount available for having the dream ticket (35%) will that only be available to me once I've collected the tickets or once I've purchased through this website? I.e. would I be able to use the discount straight away to book my first stay or will I have to collect first? Also, how would you go about booking hotel only booking? Presumably through call centre...0 -

Really? I've booked for dinner at 8pm as I have read on other forums that characters start to come out at 6pm and there are characters until 11pm (although they do rotate which ones). Can anyone confirm this please?0 -

From reading on other forums I think you'll find that the 'discount' room only rate will probably no cheaper than the online rate including tickets. However, as you get EMH with the Dream pass you can take advantage of cheaper (just) offsite hotels and not miss out on time in the park.0 -

yes, you're right, the characters are out from just after 6pm in the evening every night, and they stay out until late (ie after 10pm) in rotation.0
