Just to say millets have some great reductions in their sale, got some charchol (sp) hand warmers for £3, thermal under trousers for the kids £3, and hats 50p, so worth a look0

Ce Multiavantages have a special offer on annual passes. The Dream pass (365 days) is 149 euros instead of 199. (You also have to pay 20 euros to join).
Have just ordered 5 - worked out at £124.57 each once it reached my credit card. This is less than the child price of the '5 days for 4' ticket (£137), so very pleased. It's starting to feel like we're really going now! Just need to keep it quiet from the kids for a few more months(!).0 -
Hi All,
I was just wondering if anyone on this sites knows of holiday apartments close to Disneyland Paris?
I am looking at taking the kids in August time, and would prefer to stay in an apartment, especially with 3 kids!
Any help or recommendations would be greatly appeciated!
Thank you in adavance0 -
there are a few options very nearby - have a look on expedia, travelrepublic etc etc.
off the top of my head, with Disney themselves the only self-catering option is the Davy Crockatts Ranch (which you would need to have a car for, as there are no shuttle buses etc to and from the parks).
Then, nearby, there are the Marriott villas, Adagio aparthotel, Residhome, Sejour et Affaire Serris aparts, etc etc.0 -

Hi All, I have been following this thread for a few weeks, thanks to all who post the great advice. I have just booked our first trip to DLP :j. Been wanting to go for a while since we went to Disneyworld 2 years ago..... and have a few questions.
We have booked 3 nights, went with the santa fe option, as it will just be a place to sleep for us....will be spending the majority of time in the park. We are going in June (half term) and are driving down from the North West. We are planning break the journey up and do a night enroute in the UK somewhere, then take the ferry across and spend the next night (sun) in a cheap but decent hotel near the resort before we checkin on the Monday.... and after our last day in the park on the thurs....any suggestions? I have heard that you can get room only at the disney hotels cheap, is this likely to only happen closer to the time?
few more questions:
EMH: will this be everyday in June?
Cafe Mickey: if we don't want the set menu how do we go about booking in advance? It's DDs 4th birthday the following week so we would like to do the cake... is that arranged in advance or on the day? Any idea on the price of the cake?
Am thinking about buying shares to get the discounts and access to Salon Mickey etc, will we get discount at cafe mickey?
Characters: when we were in florida my DDs loved meeting the characters and I've read that it's more hassle at DLP.... How many characters come to the hotels in the mornings? If they only come at 8am is it better for us to use the EMH or wait at the hotel to meet the characters.
Santa Fe: Are there ice machines? As we are driving we are planning on taking a cooler so we can take snacks, drinks etc, but will obviously need ice to keep it cool! I have read they have kettles, but no cups!!! so will plan ahead for this.
Half board: is it worth it? Youngest DD is a very picky eater and usually just shares with us. If you want to do character dining do you have to pay extra?
Sorry for all the questions, but I'm sure I'm giong to have lots more!!! Thanks in advance:beer:0 -
Before I swap my weekly shop to Tesco does anyone know if the clubcard deal for hopper tickets will run over the summer? We are going to Paris for a week in July and just want day tickets for Disney. Thanks!0
