We were planning to - but can't remember why we didn't. I think maybe because we just followed the main car park signs and didn't see any specific village (car park) ones.

We do collect Tesco points but the OH wasn't keen on the tunnel (too claustrophobic apparently). Mind you the ferry crossings were fine. The return one (on the Spirit of Britain) was very good ... those bed/sofas :T

The more I think about it - we probably don't need to stay onsite. The kids certainly would get nothing from the character breakfasts (judging by their refusal on Friday to go up to any of the characters !!!) though the magic hours would come in handy.

oh bless 'em ! they didn't get any autographs / pics then lol

the tunnel is fab,you would never know you are underwater at all! and such a short crossing :)

you just follow Disney Village signs, and then there's a large multistorey carpark

Does anyone know when I will be able to book for either June or September 2012 ? Ideally staying on site in the Disneyland Hotel ? Also has anyone used a particularly good company to book a package ? I will be flying there also. Thanks for any info :)

when she was 5, my DD loved all the Fantasyland rides except the Snow White one (it doesn't feature Snow White much at all, its mostly the Hag/wicked queen). She also loved the Cars ride, Carpets ride, and would have loved Slinky Dog, plus all the shows in the Studios. Oh plus Buzz ride in Discoveryland :). Chasing characters was her favourite thing to do then (and she still likes this, 4 years on ;)). If she's a bit of a daredevil, you could try her on Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Phantom Manor.

    Hello all,

Its 2 weeks today till me and little'un go to Disneyland :j:eek:

I just wanted to ask a couple of quick questions if thats ok?

We're staying at the Santa Fe, does anyone know if they supply towels?

My money situation is dire atm so am going to buy the half board standard vouchers next week so at least I know we will get food whilst there!
I was going to make our reservations before we go and wanted anyone views on these standard restuarants.

Weds was gonna eat at the Cheyenne buffet cause we'll both be knackered and its next to our hotel
    Thurs restuarant des stars buffet
    Friday Agrabah buffet
Saturday des star buffet again or Annetes Diner
Sunday ill have to buy dinner myself for us two.

Does that sound like im making the most of the half board?
Is the food at these places nice?
I really wanted to book us in for a tea time character thing and pay the extra for my daughter to get a card and some birthday cake (she turns 11 a few days before we go) but really dont think I can afford it just to eat the pastries! Any opinions on this?

Any advice as usual is greatfully recieved
Anyone off to Disney this week, have a safe and super fun trip! :)
    Cheers

yes they do, if you need more just ask at reception.

All of them, in my experience, are fine, we like buffets too. My daughter wasn't particularly keen on the Agrabah Cafe food although the setting is fabulous (but I loved the food there).

personally, instead of the tea party which you pay £18 each for (and then have to pay extra for birthday cake) I'd take her to Cafe Mickey for lunch or dinner instead of Agrabah or your second Restaurant des Stars visit. Use your half board vouchers for cash value at Cafe Mickey, then you can order pizza etc to share for lunch/dinner and it won't cost as much as anything like £36 for the pair of you. That way you might even consider paying for a whole birthday cake for her to get from the characters (£22 if you pay for it in advance by adding it to your booking).

Does anyone know when I can book for either April 2012 or September 2012 ? I can't seem to book that far ahead yet and want to be first in line so they don't all get booked up fast. Also any info on European school holidays would be helpful. Thanks :)
