when we stay @ that site we just drive in each time

    it's an hours drive

park in the Disney Village multistorey as it's 8 euros compared to 15 euros in the main carpark ( and closer!!)

we tend to look for any deals for tickets ,we have used Tesco deals, and sometimes you get the 15% off deal on the DLP website

Thanks for this Rachie B - I know the camp runs a bus to Eurodisney - have/would you try this? What is the drive like from Campsite to Eurodisney?

Looking to go from Tuesday - Friday and have Wednesday and Thursday in that parks.

Any hotel in the vicinity will be fine as long as we can easily get to the park without a car and without getting ripped off with a taxi.

I did find Hotel ibis Marne La Vall!e Val d'Europe for a total of around £170.

Obviously the cheaper the better :)

The Ibis, Etap and Residhome are all together in a little square right next to the train station at Val d'Europe, so very very handy for the Disney parks (literally 5 minutes train journey from your hotel to the entrance to the parks).

Will you arrive too late on the Tuesday or depart too early on the Friday to make use of Disney park tickets, or is there something else you have in mind to do in the area that you are restricting yourselves to 2 days in the parks?

Just a few hours now until we set off for the Sun offer trip.

Wanting to make sure we haven't forgotten anything:

    Money for the toll
Money for the car park (and parking in the Disney Village multistorey rather than the main one)
Do we need any sort of photo id / passport photos for a 1 day visit ?

Also, any last minute suggestions/recommendations for rides for a 5 and 7 yr old ?

Ooh how exciting, can we come? Can't wait until August for our trip!
No you don't need photos, yes you do need lots of spending money-buy snacks/drinks in station shop before you go in.
Rides depend on how tall/brave your children are, Peter Pan and Dumbo are must dos (PP is my absolute favourite, "I can fly, I can fly, I can fly!). POTC, Pinocchio and Snow White can scare those of a nervous disposition but mine were fine. My youngest was 7 last time we went he loved BTM, was desperate to do Indiana Jones but wasn't tall enough & thought Star Tours was a bit boring so you can never tell! If you've got a park hopper Carpets of Agrabah is good. Regardless of rides you will have a great time!:j

    Hi

no we have never used the bus trip
as we like to leave really early and get back after closing

whereas with the bus I don't think they get you there for opening and you have to leave earlier tthan park closing

the drive is fine,we haven't got lost yet lol

YES bring your passport with you!
the lead passenger (who's name is on the SUN ticket voucher) needs to show ID

Hi, hoping for some help with finding cheap disneland tickets.
Planning to go to the parks 11th -12th April, all the ticket deals seem to end 5th April and I'm struggling to get cheap tickets. the French site francebillet deal ends the 5th , can't even see an option for after this on that site??
Anybody know of somewhere or somehow to get tickets cheaper than £95 adult £83 child for the 2day park hopper
Maybe have to resort to the telco deals but just feel I'm not getting value for money with the telco deals!

    Thank in advance everyone

i know my experience with a group of school kids will be different to most of you travelling with your families (unless you too have almost 40 kids  :D) but thought i'd add my twopenneth worth. personally i was REALLY disappointed with DLP having experienced WDW in Florida several times. It really is a poor relation. The customer service was poor, the concept of queueing does not exist, there was no one trying to keep order during character meet n greets, shopping opportunities were poor, you had to be suicidal to use the hopper buses etc. as for disney's interpretation of what constitutes a st davids festival, the less said about that the better.

whilst merchandise/food in the park was far from cheap, there were some good bargains to be had. WDS was a disappointment - very little to keep you entertained once you had done the big rides (although personally I thought it had better shops - can you tell i'm not much one for rollercoasters?!)

we stayed at mytravel explorers. Staff were worse than useless, and that's being generous. C*ckup after c*ckup (not ideal at any time, less so when you have 40 tired teens to room). Their excuse? We have a lot of people checking in today...er, you're a hotel in DLP, if you can't cope with a lot of people checking in then you have real problems! Rooms were nice however (crew rooms) and the food was good (we paid for evening meals too). But I would have serious reservations about staying here again - most of the staff we encountered here didn't seem to have a clue what they were doing, and the few who did couldn't give a damn about the crappy service on offer.

I was looking at the ibis, £170 for 3 nights room only though.

Flights would land at 19:55 at CDG on the Tuesday and then we could leave from CDG at 17:00 on the Friday so it isn't worth the extra money.

Would just go look around the shopping centre on Friday and then head off the the airport.

I want to take my gf for her birthday but I'm worried about spending £500 for the both of us excluding food, only to be let down due to the parks being very busy and not getting to do much :o
