for the one-year old, you can ask for a plate for her and she can share your/your elder daughters meal, you won't be charged for this

Just a quick one re an autograph book - I went in october and they only had one toy story one available and that took several shops to find, I suggest you take one with you and a sharpie marker !!!!!
And regarding dressing up, make sure you get the outfits from Disney store here, they are about 85 euros for a decent one, My daughter dressed up every day and there were loads of other children dressed up too, they can have their faces painted in the park for 9 euros.
You will find the characters wandering about the park all day long, we had hundreds 9f autographs but if you have dinner at cafe mickey then they come and spend more time with you. We had the half board vouchers and they really do help with your budget.0 -
thats odd about the autograph books - I was there in October too, and they had 3 different small autograph book designs, Princesses, Toy Story, and a generic Mickey/Minnie/Eiffel tower one. We got ours in the store when you first enter the Studios park.
We had our faces painted every day and it didn't cost anything (October Halloween season is the only time I've seen the face painters out and about in the main park). Did you mean the Princess/glittery face painters in the Studios Kerrie?0 -
We are going to Disneyland Paris in a couple of weeks but will only have two days there. It is likely to be our only visit so want to get it right. The advice I have read so far suggests to plan which rides you want to go on in advance rather than waste time deciding once you are there. But I can't find anywhere there will give me a summary of rides (other than a list of ride names which is of very little use) that include simple things like height restriction and a simple description such as "rollercoaster" or "gentle ride", "virtual experience" or an age suitability. I know that everyone's opinion is different but, knowing what our 7 and 5 year olds enjoy, we could very easily cross a few things off the list if we know what they were. Does anyone know if such a thing exists please ?0

We ate at The Auberge last summer for lunch when we were there with our 5 year old and 2 year old. It was worth every penny just to see the look of amazement on the girls faces. My youngest who was 2 at the time was offered a bowl of cheese and tomato mickey pasta which we were not charged for, which I thought was good.0

Hi, I went 21-25 oct - We could only find the one toy story autograph book in one of the stores on main st ( after going round several shops)
Her face was painted every day in the main park next to the horses ( merry go round ) -It was the princess glittery ones, we had to buy the token in the shop next to the merry go round and I think it was about nine euros, I never saw any free face paints - I always miss the free stuff !!!!! I have to say I much preferred the studios to the main park!!!! Stitch live was brilliant x
And having lunch with the princess characters was deffo a highlight.0 -
have skimmed through the 120 pages of this thread. my query is slightly different from most.
I'm a teacher shortly due to be taking a coach load of teens to DLP and WDS. They will have one day in each park and an hour or two in the disney village. just trying to figure out what to advise they take in terms of spending money. They only thing they will need to buy in the park is lunch or a snack, and maybe some souvenirs.
From looking at various sites, it would seem that the average cost of a meal (eg burger, fries, drink) is 10 euros with ice creams and drinks in the region of 3 euros. Am I in the right ballpark with these figures or am I over/under budgeting?know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -

Hi Aneeta.
As already mentioned DLRPmagic is indeed very helpful on this.
Also on disneylandparis.co.uk have a good look around the "prepare for your visit" tab and the "before you go" section. You can look at each ride, some have photo's, some have little videos and then if you scroll down to the bottom of the page there is a drop down box of other similar attractions you might like. There are also suggested itineries "for little ones", "for families" and "for thrill seekers".
When I went about 10 years ago I always fell into the "thrill seekers" category, but this time, with two under 5's and 5 months pregnant I'm going to have to settle for the little ones category! I'm going to be really sad when I have to walk past space mountain!
I would also highly recommend seeing the shows while you are there. When I went back a second time, I wondered why on earth I had not seen them the first time. My girls have been watching the Mickey and friends show on you tube and getting really excited.
You can find a calender on the "prepare for your visit" section with park opening times and print out the show/parade schedule from there before you go. It only seems to be for the next week at the moment, but yours will be up next I guess. If only the March one was available already!
Have a great trip.:)0 -

you're in the right ball park - adult counter service (fast food but not so fast :rotfl:) is 10 to 13 euros for a meal deal. Souvenirs are very expensive generally at DLP - pins upwards of 6 euros, phone charms etc start at slightly less, hoodies/tshirts etc are also expensive (think Disney Store UK prices and add a bit).0
