hi i was looking at going to disney early next year and thought about going to the disneyland hotel if we could afford it. there would be 4 adults and 2 kids (7 and 2).
it says we can fit into a family room i was just wondering what the bed situation would be ? will the little one have to be in a travel cot or is there enough beds for 6?
    thanks

as I understand it, a family room at the Disneyland Hotel has 2 double beds, a pull-down bed, and the cot for your youngest (family rooms hold 5 guests plus an infant in a cot).
  • Sorry if this has already been answered but i have purchased the standard half board option staying in the Cheyenne. It didn't give me an option for the plus or premium half board. Is there anyway of upgrading?

    Thanks in advance.

yes, just call Disney on their regular booking line, and upgrade your half board package.

If you don't pick a set menu/kids meal deal each, Cafe Mickey is actually the cheapest (and one of the best) character meals there is :). We share pizza (one pizza is easily enough for 2) and have soft drinks at Cafe Mickey - pizza starts at around 15 euros.

If you choose a set meal or pay for a meal each for character lunch/dinner, you're looking at around 30 euros per adult and 15 euros per child. Breakfast at Cafe Mickey is less, but I personally wouldn't choose this as you have breakfast included in your price for your hotel.

you can call Disney Dining to book a table - but if you're not going in school holidays you'll be fine waiting until you get to DLP, and booking a table either at your hotel reception, or at City Hall in the main park. Its definitely worth booking a little in advance (a couple of days even) for Cafe Mickey, its a very popular restaurant.
  • Hi all, Im also going on Paddy's Day. It will be my first trip and I cant wait. Im going with my best friend and her 3 children (12, 5 and 1) and my 2 little ones (6 and 3). I cant wait and so glad to hear there will be fireworks on Paddy's day night - I actually thought they had fireworks every night, so glad to hear we will be there on a day when there is fireworks :j. I was wondering if anyone knows the best way to ensure the younger ones and the 12 year old each get a chance to enjoy themselves as we dont want the 12 year old to constantly be having to wait while we walk around with the litle ones and go to their rides and I cant see the little ones waiting patiently while she goes onto the older rides. Are the older/tounger rides seperated or are there any areas where they are close together so that they can both ride at the same time? I hope that makes sense. Thanks

I was also wondering if anyone knows how much it will cost us to travel into Paris on the train? Cant seem to find the prices - are they any family tickets? Also, I was going to book the Disney express baggage service as I arrive before 3pm, but someone mentioned that the hotels (Im staying at Santa Fe) have a little hodiong area where I can drop my bags before checkin for free or a few euros - is this true and how mkuch is it and can I do that on the day I leave to? And does anyone know how much the birthday cake service is and how much the babysitting service is? Thanks Sorry for 100 questions.

The station at Disney is called MARNE LA VALLEE CHES so you want to go from there to paris:).

The baggage service works in reverse as well - you leave your bags at the luggage office at the hotel and they take them to the tran station for you to collect.

If you arrive early to the park, just leave your bags at the express baggage at the station, go to the park and then get the bus to the hotel and yourbags should be there.

However, it is worth noting that the station has a left lugagge office and and for 9 euro 50 you can get a large locker (fits 1 large suitcase, 1 small suitcase and 3 peices of hand luggage with space).
If you don't need as much space, they have smaller, cheaper lockers.

So you can get off the train, leave everything at the left luggage office, then when the park closes go back to the left luggage and then take your luggage on the bus with you.

I don't know if you get a discount for booking the disney express service in advance, but when we looked last month when at disney, the left luggage office was cheapest.

We took the TGV from CDG to Disney, and whilst had booked tickets in advance, didn't have tickets checked in either direction. Don't know what the rules are on french trains for buying tickets in transit, but it may be worth taking a chance. (and don't have a go at me anyone, I know it's not proper to do it, but aware that people do all the time)
