no, its a great hotel :) - ignore Trip Advisor and go read other review sites for DLP instead, where you'll get reviews from people who actually enjoy going on holiday lol.
I always take any review on Trip Advisor with a huge pinch of salt.

holidaytruths is usually balanced for reviews, theres DISboards, DLRPMagic, loads of review forums for DLP hotels.

Quick question about annual passes. On the info I have read it says you need a picture of each person getting an annual pass. Does anyone know if we need to take these with us or do they take our picture when we buy the passes?

    Thank you

each of you gets a photo taken by the staff there when you are getting your annual pass, then its laminated onto your pass.

We have booked a euro disney trip for 14th of March. Seeing some people spend over £1000 on their trip wanted to share our deal.

We are 10 people and its £1200 including euro tunnel, 2 cabins at davy crocket and the premimum half board. We have travelled twice to the ranch before, first time with 3 under 5's the second we had 3 under 7's. Gone smoothly both times. For the sake of a good bargain - dont be afraid to drive!
  • Going this summer with a 4 year old. Just wanted to know if you can hire some sort of ride on buggys for kids at the park. She is now too big for a pram and a bit too big to carry around. And all that walking and I know what she is going to say.

yes you can hire buggies at DLP approx £8 a day but they are not the mosy comfortable buggy in world especially if little un wants to have a sleep.

Can you borrow a buggy and take it with you? The buggies you can hire are okay, but they don't recline, and you have to pay a hefty deposit to take them between the parks or outside of the parks. the other alternative, If you're going from the main park to the studios one, is to hand your park one back and then take your hire receipt to the studios and pick up another one there.

To be honest, if you think your little one would use a buggy, it would be much more convenient to take one with you.

For those looking to book Explorers Hotel, I found its cheaper to book it direct with the hotel on their own website. Thomas Cook £416, Direct on web 412 euros.
