True, true. I guess 2 ad, 2 ch is £448 just for tickets and Santa Fe with tickets is just a tad more than this for accomodation also. And this is in May/June half term. Wait til the Special Offers are on and you'll get a better deal on accomodation too.
I guess they are doing it that way so the carer goes in free but, for us, there was not much difference in price with my sons carer getting into the park free, we still had to pay for her accomodation.0 -

its continental, cereals, croissants, brioche, bread, cheeses, cold meats, jams, tinned fruit salad, and then there are hot drinks/milk/water dispensers dotted around the restaurant.0 -
thankyou Ballet shoes we are going next week so I wont bother you with so many questions for much longer
as we are driving to DP does anyone have any tips?
How long does it take from Calais? What is the speed limit and are there any speed cameras along the way/motorway?
Looking at Google Map which route is better:
> E15 > E19 > E15 or
>E15> E17 >E50?

Hi my 3 yr old daughter, my wife and myself go to Disneyland Pair sin Easter 2010.
We have booked ourself at the DisneyLand Hotel Standard rooms.
A few questions:
1) Is there any shop where we can buy any groceries.
2) Are there any microwaves in the rooms, or even around the hotel for heating up food?
3) I hear that they dont even provide kettles in the room, is this true?
4) Can we take food and drink into the park or do they check your bags and stop you from taking it?
Thanks...0 -

depends on what you mean by groceries - you can buy soft drinks, beer, wine, milk, sweets, snacks etc in the hotel shop (but very expensive), or at the train station, or at the garage near the Santa Fe hotel. If you mean other kinds of groceries, you'd need to take the train one stop to Val d'Europe and the Auchan shopping centre there.
2) Are there any microwaves in the rooms, or even around the hotel for heating up food?
no - i'm guessing you mean for heating up groceries? no, nothing like that at the Disneyland Hotel.
3) I hear that they dont even provide kettles in the room, is this true?
you can request a kettle, free of charge at the Disneyland Hotel. I'm not sure if they provide tea and coffee etc free of charge, you have to pay for those at the other onsite hotels so I just take my own.
4) Can we take food and drink into the park or do they check your bags and stop you from taking it?
yes, you can take food and drink into the parks, just no glass bottles etc. They do check your bags, but are not looking for food and soft drinks.
Thanks...

I am not sure on the annual tickets, something I am trying to find out at the moment. Are you staying a a Disney hotels as they include tickets. Apparently carers do get in free but I am tyring to find out how it works with buying an annual pass too.
Annual pass info is here:
http://www.dlrpmagic.com/planning/booking/annual-passports/#/buying-an-annual-pass
Seems it has to be done when you get there. I was either going to get the annual pass for one then get 20% discount on DS ticket or get annual passes for all but me and then get myself in free as a carer. If it works like this.
Take the proof of disability and his blue badge if you have one, they only wanted to see this last time we went, they will give you a pass for your entire stay. I'd suggest taking something to keep it in as ours got soggy last time. On the pass it says the number of people in the party and the details of the person with the diability.
There are some busier rides and if there is a queue you will be given a time to come back to the ride so you can go off elsewhere and then you go to the exit. The person giving the times will be at the entrance, not the exit.
The pass also gives you access to the disabled section for the parades but the rest of your party will not be allowed in so bear this in mind.0
