How did you go about buying shares and how much do you have to spend to get the appropriate amount of shares to be a shareholders club member?

Also being a DLP shareholder does it also entitle you discounts on florida??

I got an share dealing account with the Halifax, online then I bought shares and jined the shareholder club, the info is here: http://corporate.disneylandparis.com/shareholders/shareholders-club/index-register.xhtml?tab=tab2#contentj

Discounts at DLP yes, lots of them, that page will tell you more. Discounts in Florida no as they are owned by different companies IYKWIM. If you have shares in Walt Disney World you do not get anything in Florida.

It is only worthwhile if you go to DLP.

Last minute have 15% off all hotels - I got an email this morning. Can't see Disney hotels on there but Dream Castle, Explorers etc... are. Don't forget Quidco!! Be quick... They have A LOT of offers onMarne la Vallee hotels already so might be worth taking a look, can be quite a saving with this and cashback

Until the end of January we'll pay 15% towards any hotel bookings with a value of £100 or more. When making any hotel-only booking, simply enter the promo code JANHOTELPROMO15 to receive the offer - the code is strictly limited to 4,000 uses in total, so make sure you get in quick.

Thanks, by any chance do you know how much lanyards are also?

Sorry for all questions, just trying to get organised before my trip.

    Hi Freddie,

I bought my 10yr old 2 lanyards off Ebay because like you I am trying to get organised before we go plus they were cheap and arrived really quickly...here's a link (its not me selling them btw!)

    http://shop.ebay.co.uk/zx817323/m.html?_nkw=lanyard&_sacat=0&_odkw=&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3911.c0.m270.l1313

I got my daughter a pink Eeyore one and a cute Marie cat one :)

I also bought about 30 pins (i must be disneymad) for her for Christmas and got all of them online...from one place I got about 11 or 12 pins and it came up to around £20 and was free delivery from the USA! :D

Hope that helps you a bit

If you are interested in this I set my share account on Monday night, bought the shares yesterday once trading opened. Then I copied the contract from my screen, into Word (you cannot send a print out from the screen). I emailed the Word document over with the Shareholder club information from that link above and I had confirmation this morning with my shareholder club number. So all in all, you can get set up as a shareholder within 24 hours.

or, if you're like my daughter, you keep adding pins to your lanyard and have no intention of trading any of them with anyone :rotfl:.

hi, how much does it cost to join the shareholders club?

    thanks

If you have between 5 and 20 shares it is a fee of 30 Euros every 2 years (Around £27), if you 20 or more then it does not cost anything.

We just paid around £93 for 20 shares with the fee for buying international shares. The links are all above.

MY was you the person I was talking to about disabled persons passes. It seems it is not cheaper to buy hotels/tickets seperate, even with all the discounts and free carer admission. Was there a reason you was not buying a package?
