Thanks to PrincessTazza for posting this on Grabbit and separately on this forum too - 5 day sale for Disneyland Paris, must book by May 10th, for selected departures in May, June and July :) -

And it's 50% off! Still think the prices are ridiculous even with the discount.

    hi

    hope you can help -

going to DLP end of May, first time with the family. Quick question, we are staying at a Disney Hotel, and noticed that we can't check in til 3pm. If we go to reception before can we get our park tickets so we can go and have some fun? Having booked a really early train cos I didn't read the check in bit til half hour ago:o, don't want to get stuck moping in Paris!

    TIA

yes, you can check in at your Disney hotel anytime - if your room isn't ready yet, they will give you your park tickets, programmes etc and you can leave your luggage at the luggage store which each hotel has. then go enjoy yourselves in the parks, and return later in the day/evening to collect your room key. I've checked in at a Disney hotel at 8am, then stayed in the parks/Village all day until around 8pm, when we returned to the hotel for our room key and to unpack.

Buses back to your hotel run late but check out the times of the last ones so you don't miss out. Be sure and stay for the fireworks.

loads of great advice from fifipat in her post above :), but thought I'd add that the onsite hotel buses run all the way through from around 6am to midnight every day, and there are no fireworks at DLP in May.

Can anyone help with a question about annual passes?

We are going to Disney in the camper in a few weeks.
DS has autism, and would qualify for a free carer on day tickets, and we have used the easypass system before. If DS has an annual pass, does he still get a free carer? We will be there 3 days in total.

    Hope someone can advise!

I don't know the answer to your question but I'm hoping I can pick your brain! My DS is also autistic and we receive DLA for him. We're off to DLP camping in October. I didn't realise you were entitled to a free carer :j Do you have to buy tickets on the gate or can you still book them online??

    Hi Cat1

I think I have just found the answer to your question and mine - the Disability guide (downloadable from DLP website) says helpers only go free when buying a disabled ticket from the gate.

Have you used the Easypass system? We used it last time and found it really good. You need a letter from GP or consultant dated in the last 3 months, take it to City Hall when you arrive and they will give you a pass, which will cover the number of days you are staying. The pass allows I think up to 5 people to not have wait in the queue so long - you can't always just get straight on but they give you a time to go back and you are normally one within 15 minutes of that time.

Thank you! I shall buy the tickets on the gate then :D This is our first visit so will bear the easypass in mind... silly question but is the City Hall within DLP??

Yes Cat1 - just go through the main gates, and its almost immediately on the left, before the shops. I'd say it's worth getting the pass early on (especially if you have magic hours - get in before the rush). We don't use ours all the time but depending on when you are there at a weekend it's great. I don't know how your DS is but be aware some of the entrances to rides can be quite dark, and long even if no queue eg Pirates of the Carribean and this can be a huge issue when you are in there a long time. The exit pass at Disney normally allows you in the exit (much shorter), or a different route (Crushes Coaster was a different route in a long corridor I think).
