Evening all, My family and I (2 lads (3.5 and 1) are off for I think 2 maybe 3 nights dependant upon cost. I've had a quick shufty and as far as I can see I will be looking at about £900 dependant upon where we stay. This is a massive thread and I've had a read but I still cannot seem to find the good deals. We are going around mid Jun. Does anyone have any top tips on where to book, where to stay and any good money saving tips for the stay. Thanks very much Len

    hi,

we're staying in normandy/seinne maritime in august and wondered if it would be a good thing to combine it with a day trip to disney since we're in the country already. can it be done in a day? its really that its my daughters 4th birthday while we're over there and it would e her, baby brother, 5 adults.

what would be the best way to travel there too?

    thanks for any help!

    Hello Guys

Can I introduce myself - I am wendyphant and have just come back from the travel agents after paying for my DLP holiday and to say I am excited is an understatement:j:j:j:jeven had mickey mouse chicken nuggets for tea - I know sad but hey ho. We are staying in september in sequoia lodge for 4 nights:T

I am going with OH and DS aged 3 and have 3 million questions before now and then so be warned:eek: I am a disney freak and have managed florida 9 times but that was before that horrible man martin(only joking) and the MSE made me look at my cards and debt so no more florida for a long time til debt free but have done this just on ebay sales:T

Today's first series of questions:rotfl: (promise you'll be sick of me by september)

    * have a 3 yr old who THINKS he is too big for a buggy but still likes a nap so need one. Is it worth hiring one there ? how much? is it safe to take your own or will it get pinched?

    * Do they have lockers? There are some on main st in florida. If so how much?

*saw in one of the brochures/books they do a childs pirate package (at a cost) which can be made ready for the child on arrival at your room has anyone done this? what is in it ? is it worth it?

we've always taken our own buggy
the ones there dont look that comfy

you'll need the buggy to hang bits on, even if your child doesnt sit in it all day

yes there a lockers just after the entrance at the beginning of Main St underneath the Station

sorry ive never heard of pirates package

tip: ask your travel agent to get you a room near reception
sequoia is a lovely hotel, but massive
it will make breakfast less of a haul if u are nearer!
Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk

the buggies you can hire at DLP don't recline, so won't be much use to you if you want to use it for a comfy nap for your little one.

i don't think the pirates package is in the current brochure - i think it was only trialled for a short while at DLP, and is not available now.

the lockers at DLP are not used, and haven't been used for at least the last 3 years. You can store a bag for the day at the Left Luggage store at the entrance to the main park, it costs 3 euros per day or part of a day.

I personally don't think the half board options are good value now, mostly because of the awful exchange rate pound to euro.

    Hi All
Can anyone advise the best (cheapest!!) place to buy the 1 day 2 parks ticket. We only need tickets as staying at campsite nearby.

Checked Disney website a few weeks back and they had a special offer 1 day 2 park ticket, but they are not on website for sale now!! - Odd.
They do have the one day 2 park ticket but you have to specify the day of visit - the previous ones were valid for 6 months and you did not have to pick the date.

Anyway, any tips on were else to buy the tickets, and does anyone know what the price is at the gate? - Many thanks
