Disneyland Paris/EuroDisney - Questions & Answers

Hi All
Can anyone advise the best (cheapest!!) place to buy the 1 day 2 parks ticket. We only need tickets as staying at campsite nearby.
Checked Disney website a few weeks back and they had a special offer 1 day 2 park ticket, but they are not on website for sale now!! - Odd.
They do have the one day 2 park ticket but you have to specify the day of visit - the previous ones were valid for 6 months and you did not have to pick the date.
Anyway, any tips on were else to buy the tickets, and does anyone know what the price is at the gate? - Many thanks
Hi - not sure if this is any good to you, but I have just bought our tickets through the Eurostar website which seems to offer approx 5% discount on the prices on DLP website. I went via TopCashBack so hopefully will also get 4% cashback on total price. Although the tickets are dated, it does say on them that they are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase, so should be OK for you.0 -
Just wondering if anyone else has taken the TGV from CDG airport to the Disneyland Parks? If so, do you need to book in advance?
I'm a bit worried about committing to a train time, especially with all the plane delays at the moment so I would rather buy a ticket when I get there if this is possible. Many Thanks0 -

The official line is, because the TGV which services DLP is a cross-country long-distance train (ie not a local service) you should book your ticket in advance. However, I certainly understand your concern with delayed planes etc, and you can buy a TGV ticket at the station when you arrive. You can either buy it at a manned booth at the train station, or use your credit card and use the automated machines.0 -

Thank you
I think I need to aim to get £800 for 4 days t make sure I don't need my cards. I always like to take too much and have money when we come back rather than go on hols and come back to a massive card bill.
I have saved all my ebay and mystery shopping money since feb and have 781 which am chuffed with. I have another load to add onto ebay this week so fingers crossed if 1/2 goes hopefully anothe 120 there.
Oh can't wait to get there am all excited now:j:j:j:happyhear YUMMY MUMMY TO HENRY BEAR AGED 10:happyhearslimming world need to get back to target 25lb to goDisney World here we come May 2018:j0 -
Has anyone been able to access the 40% discount?
I went on the http://hotels.disneylandparis.co.uk site and search lots of different dates. The only one I could find with a 40% discount was Davy Crockett in mid June ... which came up at around £350
Then I googled and went on travel agent websites (that also offered 40% discount on 2 night stays) the price for the same dates was about £580 ... presumably NOT taking off ANY discount!
Does anyone know a way of finding the cheapest date / hotel without having to do hundreds of date / hotel combinations?
many thanks, Sarah0 -

We booked our stay in DLP about two months' ago and I spent a lot of time like you trying to find a good deal with playing around with different hotels and different dates.
We then phoned up DLP to book over the phone once I had found the best deal. We booked at the Newport Bay in the end and the girl said that the 40% off had "run out" and she could therefore only offer us 30% off.
The DLP operative didn't seem very interested in looking around for the best deal; so as the Newport Bay seemed a reasonable offer; we went with that.

when we're staying in france what would be the best way to get to disney? looking at it it seems that driving would be cheaper (2 cars, 5 aadults, 2 kids) anyone know anything about parking? ta
Parking is €12 per day for all day in DLP itself per car
How you get there depends on where in France you're staying

I don't think there is any other way - except that you could ask your local First Choice or Co-op Travel agents to do all that work for you. Both of those agents give the exact same prices as the official Disney site, for onsite hotel/park ticket packages. I booked with the 40% off deal for October, but I booked in March, so had plenty of choice with dates, hotels etc. I have booked through my local Co-op travel agent, so I can pay the holiday up a bit at a time, very easily as its literally 2 minutes walk from where I work. I checked the deals online first with the official Disney site, so I knew I was paying exactly the same through Co-op travel.
