The current 40% off deal on the official Disney site covers all the onsite hotels, including the Sequoia Lodge, for dates from now until 8th November. If you're flexible with your dates of travel, you might find a deal with the full 40% off.

    Hi

Only just beginning to think about this but interested in taking my Parents to Disneyland but bit risky Mum flying so thinking of EuroStar maybe but not sure how practical that is getting to/from from the Midlands to join the train. Maybe as only 45 mins could risk flying if easier with the transport (we live within an hour of Birmingham airport.)

We would also be looking to go August hols as only time i can get time off work (education)

Thinking that the Valle de Europe hotels might be good and a bit cheaper than the Disney ones?

One concern is that Im vegan and not sure Disney cater for vegans? If in the massive shopping centre I could maybe find more places to eat? I went years ago with my Dad and struggled as a veggie now Im vegan!

Think we would need a hotel with a shuttle bus option as parents wont want to walk miles.

Thinking of Venice next year - would be too hot in August so maybe Disney. After looking at prices for self catering in this country it wouldnt cost that much more to go to Disney!

The Eurostar website has some good train/hotel deals but does not include Disney passes. Has anyone ever booked via Eurostar?

Sorry for lots of questions - first post in this thread - and just starting to think is it practical for me and parents to go in August/hows best to get there and if its hard work finding veggie/vegan food there!

    Thanks:)

Does anyone know when the Dec 10 dates are out?

The dates and prices are now available on the official Disney site for winter through to March 2011 - there are definitely some bargains to be had if you're a bit flexible with your dates (like 4 nights for the price of 2 etc).

I've never been there but you can use tesco clubcard points for that.

Does anyone know how much it is to park at the theme park? We're staying in the davy crocket ranch and was going to drive to park but not if it's too expensive!

Parking is free if you are staying at the DCR - you get a pass which you just show as you are going in. You would have to drive anyway - you can't get into Disney from the DCR without a car...and a taxi would be a lot more expensive than parking.

    Hi
Have tried to read through previous posts, to find info I need, but my eyesight is failing....:o
Hoping a kind expert will answer directly!
We are family of 4 (kids are 9 and 6) staying with our car in a gite 2 hours from DLP from 11-16 July. Our kids have been fantastic this year and we'd love to say thanks to them with a DLP visit for a day or two depending on costs. Very happy to take picnics and park and walk or ride, as on a pretty tight budget. Any advice about getting the most out of our trip would be VERY VERY much appreciated, thanks.
e.g. Is it worth getting a Fastpass? Is is worth trying to do the two parks in one day or best just to concentrate on one? Are there any discounts for two day tickets? Are picnics allowed?, etc.
BIG THANKS TO ANYONE KIND ENOUGH TO REPLY!

you can park at your hotel for free - you won't need the car to get to the parks from the Cheyenne, its only 15 minutes walk, or a few minutes on the free shuttle buses which run all through the day and evening.
