Disneyland Paris/EuroDisney - Questions & Answers

I'm off to the Disney Paris on Tuesday. Just been looking at the paperwork and it looks like I have 5 days worth of park tickets for myself and my daughter. The issue is, we don't arrive til late evening on the first day and on the last day, we leave quite early on in the day, so there won't be time for going into the park. How long are the tickets valid for? I was thinking maybe I could do another visit in the summer holidays if they are valid for a while... that is if she likes it!0

the park tickets you get with a Disney hotel stay are usually only valid for a week or 2 after the date you get them (the validity dates will be printed on them).0 -
Just returned from 5 nights at DLP and our plans were upset by the attractions below being 'updated for your future enjoyment' [ I'll let you decide what we thought of that!:eek::eek:] :
Fantasyland:
Dumbo
Casey Jr - le petit train du cirque
Le pays des contes de Fees
Discoveryland:
Honey, I shrunik the audience
Space mountain: Mission 2
please note that Star Tours is open, its just the area around the x-wing fighter thats blocked off
Adventureland:
Pirates Beach
Frontierland:
River rogue keelboats
Pocahontas indian village
Also the new panoramique is still 'testing' but does occassionally take visitors.
In the DLS the normal attractions are working but the new 'new character' rides e.g. RC Racer and Toy soldier drop don't even appear to being tested at the moment.
Anyway I hope that helps someone.
Enjoy yourself anyway:j

Oh no, I was really hoping that Honey I Shrunk the Audience would be open. Any indication how long the rides will be closed for? Is there anything around on their site?0

Sorry, there's absolutely no info, just 'signs' saying that each attraction is being updated for your future enjoyment which of course is no use whatsoever. There's always someone bigger and better, smarter and stronger but there's only one YOU!:j

Honey I Shrunk the Audience is no more I'm afraid - that area is being changed into a Captain EO Tribute show.
If you want to see the programme of refurbs/closures etc, go to DLRP Magic, you can see all the scheduled ones there. They are usually posted at least a couple of months in advance.0 -
I wish I'd known about http://www.dlrpmagic.com/calendar/closures-refurbishments/ before hand:(. What I don't understand is DLPmagic's relationship to Disney when they say "This website is independent of and not supported, endorsed by or connected to Disneyland Paris,
The Walt Disney Company, Euro Disney Associ!s S.C.A., Disney Enterprises, Inc. or their subsidiaries and affiliates.". In which case how come they are so well informed!:mad::mad::mad:.There's always someone bigger and better, smarter and stronger but there's only one YOU!:j

as I understand it, DLRP Magic is run by fans and very frequent visitors to DLP, there are also a few Cast Members at DLP who contribute to the site.0

Just wanted to add that we used a private taxi (http://www.interserviceprestige.com/service.php ) to take us to DLP. I know that it maybe cheaper by some train routes but we didn't want the extra stress and we all know how courteous our european friends are on the shuttle buses to your hotel, particularly when you have large suitcases!.
They charge €60 each way which works out cheaper than the VEA bus for a party of 4 or more and only a small premium for smaller groups.
Their drivers were professional and courteous and we would recommend them. On our return journey there was quite a serious car crash on the motorway and our driver doubled back and took an alternative route and we still arrived at CDG within the hour!:j.

DLP - can I do it??? And for how much???
I had flights booked to malaga to spend 8 days with new family, however they've upped and moved!! So while I would be spending that time with my sister, to be honest I can't afford it and would rather be spending that money on taking the kids somewhere they'd enjoy.
I have flights therefore booked with easyjet that I'd attempt to transfer to paris - however I'm guessing it willl cost me £150 (£25 per flight - might be worth just booking new ones haven't looked into it yet.)
Is it do able with one adult and two small children? Ds is 6 and dd is 3, is every ride two person or will we cope?
I don't drive, how would we get airport - resort? And is there a better hotel for non-driving?
Finally what is the cheapest way of doing it? I'm guessing going half board?
Thanks
ETA - forget to say that it'll be the start of the school summer holidays, so not expecting miracles price wise!0
