That link, and all the information I posted which I'd copied at the time, was certainly on the Disney website in September and October, as thats when I booked the trip, and when I copied the information regarding the free meals deal.

    Thanks again balletshoes :)

I think between October and December when we booked that DLP updated the web site. From the link you went to I got the following (transcribed from my printed copy):
    Disneyland Paris
All Your Meals For Free – Adult/Child Dinner Voucher
This voucher is valid for an adult menu (1 starter, 1 main course, 1 dessert) or buffer (depending on the restaurant) + 1 soft drink (33cl / water 50cl) or 1 child menu (1 Main course, 1 dessert) or buffer (depending on the restaurant) + 1 soft drink (25 cl).
    Book Now!
Valid in one of the restaurants listed below depending on your hotel. These restaurants are located across the resort (in Disneyland® Park, Walt Disney Studios® Park, your Disney hotel and Disney Village).
If you stay at Disney’s Santa Fe or Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch or Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne, your “meal voucher Standard” is valid in the restaurants listed below:
If you stay at Disney’s Sequoia Lodge or Disney’s Newport Bay Club or Disney’s Hotel New York your “meal voucher Plus” is valid in the restaurants listed above plus:
Hunter’s Grill – Beaver Creek – Cape Cod – Parkside Diner – The Lucky Nugget Saloon – The Steakhouse – La Grange a Billy Bob’s Country Western Saloon – Walt’s, An American Restaurant – Blue Lagoon Restaurant
If you stay at Disneyland your “meal voucher Premium” is valid in the restaurants listed above plus:

This seems almost identical to your "Meal Voucher 2" description and there was definitely no mention of the "Meal Voucher 1".

So I assumed that under an "All Your Meals for Free" deal that both lunch and dinner would be the same deal.

I think DLP must have had a problem updating their web site when we booked, but they are not willing to admit this.

I've had a response from DLP's Guest Communicaiton Department stating their role is to respond to all complaints so they have ignored my request to give my Philippe Gas' email or postal address:mad:

    Hi

I'm relatively new to this Forum and we are having our honeymoon in DLP in September staying at Disney's Newport Bay. We have booked the "half board plus" as part of our package deal. Is this the same thing that balletshoes kindly posted the link to?? Thanks.

Firstly congratulations and I am sure you will have a lovely honeymoon in Disneyland Paris :D.

Checking the current DLP web site it states for Half Board Plus:

    • Up to 15% discount by pre-booking
Our Half board vouchers are valid for:

    Adult:
1 starter, 1 main course, 1 dessert, 1 non alcoholic drink (soda 33cl or water 50cl)
    Or
1 all you can eat buffet, 1 soft drink (soda 33cl or water 50cl)

    Child:
1 main course, 1 dessert et 1 soft drink (25cl)
1 all you can eat buffet, 1 soft drink (25cl)

    • Valid in a minimum of 14 Table service or buffet restaurants in Disneyland Paris, including Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe®, Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne® et Disney Davy Crockett Ranch®, Disney’s Hotel New York®, Disney’s Newport Bay Club® and Disney’s Sequoia Lodge®.
    • You will receive 1 voucher per night and per person upon check in at your hotel
    • Vouchers can be used for lunch or dinner.
    • Vouchers can be used for their face value in all Disneyland Paris restaurants (except Mc Donald’s®, Planet Hollywood®, Rainforest Caf!®, King Ludwig Castle®)
    • Not valid on December 24th and 31st
    For your convenience we advise you pre-book your table by calling: (33) 01 60 30 40 50

Pursuant to new legislation relating to VAT as applied to catering and effective July 1st, 2009, some of the prices featured in this section could be reduced. Please note that his reduction will solely and exclusively be applicable to purchases made as of July 1st, 2009 inclusive.
So this is not the same as the list balletshoes showed.
"Half Board Plus" is only for lunch or dinner and you get buffet breakfast included with the hotel room. If you get lunch yourself it was about €11 each for the counter restaurants (and more if you want buffet/table service).
Not sure how much the deal actually saves you over buying the meals directly. It is probably a "good little earner" for Disney as they are guaranteed the revenue stream.
I could not find out which restaurants are included in the deal and which you only get "face value" for so you'd probably be best checking with Disney so you are not disappointed when you get there.
There is also a "Half Board Premium" option which includes more restaurants.
I recall that the "half board" meals were on a set menu so you do not have a free choice from the menu. We found buffets good value. Drinks over and above the free water/soft drink are extra so you need to budget for these too.
There are also no details as to what "face value" means if you do go elsewhere (or I assume go for outside the set meals). Our "dinner" vouchers showed a face value of €26.60.
To save any problems, I suggest you print out all the details in advance and save any web pages on your PC just in case ;)

What a shame Monkfish, I'm so sorry to hear that your daughter is still poorly. I hope she recovers soon and you'll get back to DLP soon.

inspector monkfish - I hope your daughter gets better soon.

My niece who is 18 years old went to Disneyland yesterday and has arrived safely. Flights had been grounded yesterday, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, until 1pm but she was lucky that her flight wasn't until almost 3pm. I hope she gets home safe again on Sunday 9th May and that there is no problems with her return flight because it was me that got her interested in going there in the first place as I said about how good it was. :o

    hi

    hope you can help -

going to DLP end of May, first time with the family. Quick question, we are staying at a Disney Hotel, and noticed that we can't check in til 3pm. If we go to reception before can we get our park tickets so we can go and have some fun? Having booked a really early train cos I didn't read the check in bit til half hour ago:o, don't want to get stuck moping in Paris!

    TIA

Yes, I had booked a hotel just outside Disneyland at Bussy St George and arrived before my check in time but they were able to give me the room. At the very least you should be able to leavel your luggage and get the use of your tickets. Check out the times of some of the shows in the parks so that you don't miss out. Buses back to your hotel run late but check out the times of the last ones so you don't miss out. Be sure and stay for the fireworks. Get a good position for the parades and check out their times. Check out Fastpass on this thread. Have a great time. Don't let the kids make you buy all the outfits. If they have an outfit let them wear it, loads of kids do.
