just incase any one else wanted to know, buffalo bills tickets are up on the disney website now for bookings after 7th november, and ouch they are expensive!!!

    gone up in price to
£50.20 adults /38.10 children for 2nd category seating
    £60.20 adults / £48.10 children for 1st category seating
does any one else know what the charge will be on the door? as i am wondering wether it may be better paying when we get there? though it is meant to be cheaper in advance than on the door, and if thats the case i dread to think how much it will be to buy when we get there in january!

I think when we were there last week it was 67 euros for adults but I didn't see what seats that was for.

    Need some help:D

    First time visitor to DLP.

We're looking at going Feb half term, and possibly again in late July. However this query is simply about Feb half term visit.

First off we are a couple with three children, 12, 10 and 8. We can fly, get the train or drive. The advantage of taking the car is that we can stay further offsite therefore possibly getting cheaper hotels?

As this is a first visit do people generally recommend 2 or 3 days?

Suggestions towards type of ticket, travel, hotels, etc gratefully received

    Hi

This is how we do it to get best value

I bought 20 shares which would cost around £100

Then I registered for the shareholders club
    http://corporate.disneylandparis.com/shareholders/shareholders-club/index.xhtml#contentj

This will give 15% discount on purchases in most restaurants and shops.

It also gives discounts on annual passes so buy 5 x annual passes @ 129 euros = 645 euros - 20% as you get this discount if you buy 5 passes for people who live at the same address = 516 euros - 15% shareholder discount = 439 euros

i.e admission for the whole year, excluding 30 days, for 88 euros, around £79 each.

We also stay at the Marriott village in a villa for 6, which is about 3 miles from Disneyland and there is a shuttle and a bus service that takes you to the entrance.
    https://www.marriott.com/reservation/rateListMenu.mi

However the annual passes will give you free parking at Disneyland.

The villas are fantastic and there is an indoor and outdoor pool etc.

    Here are the reviews

There is a small supermarket on site but it can be pricey. You can walk to the supermarket in Bailly Romanvilliers, about 8 mins walk or go to the Val de Europe hypermarket and stock up on food and drinks as they are expensive in the parks.

We have just returned and spent 6 nights and still did not see / do everything.

I hope that this helps and let me know if you want any further information

  • hi i am a newbie so not sure if anybody has suggested this before but i have a motorhome and in june we spent 5 days in disney ferry prices change but ours was only 80.00 return .to hire a motorhome out of season should be reasonable and you can stay at disney on a special car park with use of toilets and showers it costs 13.00 a night to stay there but after paying for the first night nobody asked us for anymore money .we saved loads having a drink and mostly eating in the van .hope this helps somebody
  • Ive just phoned and added character breakfast at cafe mickey for Sunday morning - called the number that was on my booking form quoted my ref and they added it to it, cost £32 for the 3 of us and they took payment there and then.
  • I'm off to Sequoia Lodge this week (staying in the Montana rooms) - can we use the room towels for the pool.....
  • Hi, We are going DLP next Sunday for 2 nights, 3 days. We have our 2 children - a 4year old & a 7month old & my partners sister who is 9.

We have gone half board. How much spending money do you think we will need approx?? Also how much money will my partners Mum need to give his sister. Bearing in mind this will need to pay for all her snacks, drinks & any gifts she wants for herself.
I will pack some drinks & snacks but we are flying so this will be limited!
    Thanks

this is a tricky question that loads ask.

If you plan to eat lunch, this was about 10 euros per adult and about 7 per child.

Snacks from train station were like 2 euros a drink, 1 euros for crisps and choc (sept 08). Drinks in the park were around 3 euros.

    Hope this helps!
Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.

Id say Buffalo bills is very expensive for a 3 year old, as if she becomes bored or scared you will have to take her out. That said i have not seen the new show with the Disney Characters in it, so this my be more entertaining for small children.

Dont know if the Novemeber fireworks follow the same pattern as the summer ones, but in the summer the fireworks happen at about 10pm just before the park shuts. So id guess they would do the same and fireworks would happen just before closing time. (Do they definately have fireworks when you are visiting? As i have been at 4 seperate times of the year and only once have the fireworks been on, and this was during peek summer season.)

Spending money is hard to judge, you can spend very little if your very carerful, but equally its a place where you can easily spend a small fortune. Snacks and drinks are very expensive in the parks (a drink is easily 3-4 euros, popcorn i think was about 6-7 euros, im sure you get the idea.) Drinks/snacks are cheaper at the train station, but still on the costly side.

Gifts vary from a few euros to literally thousands of euros, so again its hard to say.
