Is anybody needing an annual pass between now and the end of august my autistic daughter has just discovered that she can give 2 more 10% discounts and get a free year for herself so she has very itchy feet ...... I wouldn't ask but if you are needing them anyway we can help each other. As an aside if anyone is in Disneyland Paris this weekend and needs a 20% discount on merchandise let me know0

I understand the Santa Fe has different blocks and a main building where dining facilities are located. Is there any way to ensure where your room is located when booking? With a 3-year-old in tow in colder weather, I'd rather not have to worry about keeping her warn for meals.

Three quick questions comparing the Sequoia and Santa Fe. I have narrowed it down to these two hotels (due to budget restrictions) since the rooms have been refurbished in both (basically excluded Cheyenne).
1- in terms of actual distance between the hotels and the park: the Sequoia is closer to the park than the Santa Fe, but walking how much further is it? is it worth the price difference to be closer to the park in your opinion? We might end up using the shuttle, anyway.
2- for a 3-year-old (almost 4) girl, which would you think is more interesting in general? I fancy the fire during colder months and the lodge look of the Sequoia as I have always wanted to stay in an actual lodge in an actual forest. But this is about our daughter and it seems the santa fe is more appropriate for kids, the sequoia seems to have a too serious look.
3- the pool at the Sequoia: do any of you use it and value it or are you just too tired after the parks?
TIA
ps: I am getting really excited the more I learn about the overall experience in DLP!0 -
the sequoia lodge is, without a doubt, the most wintery themed hotel at DLP, so its perfect at that time of year - and it has a Bambi theme in its rooms

... the Free "afternoon snack" each (drink and cake) ... Sequoia was lovely once again. Was a perfect (albeit tiring) holiday and can't wait to go back!

Hi,
Going in a week and a bit.
Couple of quickies please?
Is the cheyenne grotty as lots of reviews on tripadvisor about it hasnt been refurbished in years.
Do they have kettles/sinks in the rooms? If so I presume its drinking grade water?
Would you be able to fit a single inflatable bed on the floor with space restrictions, just in case the bed isnt really big enough for 2?
Odd ones I realise.

no its not grotty - its just starting to look a bit tatty round the edges in the rooms.

no kettle, but you can ask at reception for one. Yes there are full-size sinks in the bathrooms. Its okay to brush your teeth etc, but I'd buy bottled water or use the water machines in the restaurants/fountains in the parks.

They are double beds - not king-size, but double. There isn't room between the double beds and bunk beds for a single inflatable bed, but I think there would be as you come into the room, next to the bathroom door.
Odd ones I realise.
Cheers.

Is this at all possible?
no, there are no guarantees - its the same with the Cheyenne and Sequoia Lodge - they all have blocks of rooms not connected to the main reception/restaurants area. You can, however, book a Montana room in the Sequoia Lodge, which means you are in the main building of the hotel.0
