Disneyland Paris/EuroDisney - Questions & Answers

Hi,
I'm looking to book 2 rooms for 30/3/15 to 3/4/15
1 - 1 Adult, 3 children (7,6 and 3)
2 - 2 Adult
I have only stayed in Sequioa before so I thought I'd try the 1st room for this hotel.
On the Disneyland English site, the price was £620. On the French site, the price was 331 Euros. Is this right? I can't see there is any difference in the package.0 -

i'm not seeing that price on the French site - I'm seeing 1,312 euros  - as its not a discounted price yet (its too early for the French site to discount its packages for next year)0 -
Thanks, that makes more sense.
I saw the For 1 and then the 312 Euros, and thought it was 1 room for 312 instead of 1,312. Ha-ha.
When are the French sites discounted?0 -

Thanks again.
Are the prices currently on the Disneyland website for Sequioa good value or should I wait to book, try another hotel?
Room 1 - £620 (1 Adult, 3 kids under 7)
Room 2 - £781 (3 Adults)
I want the 4 nights and park passes included.0 -
Thanks again.

no they're not great prices, because you are being charged for your 7-year old (until this year, March was always kids-under-12 free). I'd wait a bit (you've got ages yet to book a good price for March) and I'd also consider playing around with the party size in each of your rooms, to get the best price overall.0 -
Hi, we're thinking of going in September w/c 15th. Do you think 5 days is too long? There will be 2 adults and a 2 year old (nearly 3).0

if all your trip is midweek, it will be very quiet in the parks so you'll have loads of time for your toddler to toddle around. It depends really - 4 nights and 4 days is my optimum time for DLP, and i've been many times already. It just feels like a proper break away, being away for that many nights.0 -
Thanks, we are trying to work out the best (and most economical) way to do this. Is it worth staying at one of the Disney hotels, I'm guessing it would be a better overall experience? And if we did stay on-site, can we book without getting the park tickets? We want to get the annual passports.0

as your child isn't 3 when you go, they will be free entry into the parks anyway.
You can get a very nice offsite but nearby hotel, midweek price, for around £60 per room per night, often including breakfast for that price too.
Fantasy Annual passes give you Extra Magic Hours access to the parks no matter where you are staying, and these are really good to have with a child your age. Each Fantasy pass costs 169 euros now, so you'd need 2 of those.
So I guess, offsite, for your APs and hotel, for 4 nights, you're looking at paying around £520 total.
You won't get as good a deal (£60 per room per night) in any onsite hotel in September, but what you could look at is booking one adult in onsite on the official DLP site (plus your child as they are free anyway) and buying one Fantasy AP when you get there, for the other adult. There are no other extra charges on top for doing this, except local tax of around 2 euros, just for the extra guest added to the room at check-in, and per night booked.0
