Hi We are thinking of taking our 3 and 1 year old in nov/dec time. I like to go when the Christmas decs are up :) Hoping it will be not toooo busy!

We will probably take the Eurostar and would llike to go for 3/4 nights. Look at the santa fe which we like the look of, package is 945 for the first week of november... was hoping we could do it cheaper seperate. Weve looked at expedia but cannot find availablity for Santa Fe?

What kind of prices should we be paying for this time of year? Thanks so much!

the Disney price you see includes park tickets for you all for the duration of your stay (so 4 or 5 days if you stay 3 or 4 nights). If you buy those park tickets separately you're looking at a price of around £400, just for the tickets.

are your November dates available direct with Eurostar for the travel? Does that reduce your total price (ie book the hotel/park tickets through Disney and sort out your own travel).

You won't see Expedia/ebookers etc prices for onsite rooms for November onwards until around September this year.

oh - and I'd go after 11th November - French schools are traditionally on holiday at the beginning of November, and Armistice day is 11th November, a major public holiday in France and one of DLPs busiest days of the park year.

You star, thank you. We are flexible with dates so yes we can wait til nearer the end of november!

Yes the eurostar has november dates available at the usual £69 return. Would it be worth booking the eurostar and then keeping a watch on hotel deals? The more i read about the half board offer the more I think that might be good for us :)
Whoever said money can't buy happiness simply didn't know where to go shopping !!

yes, book the £69 return fares now with Eurostar, and aim for a Monday or Tuesday check-in date (these are the cheaper days of the week to check in at the DLP onsite hotels).

Then wait to see what deals come out around September for your onsite hotel package - at that time you'll be able to compare with offsite and onsite room only and buying your own park tickets/APs, and by then the French and other countries will have their November packages out for sale, often they have better offers than the UK site, and you can book using any countries website.

Oh, and don't pay for any meal plan at DLP - if you have to pay for them, they are not worth it, especially as your children are so young.

eta - just had a look at the UK DLP site for your party for 3 nights arriving Monday 17th November, at the Santa Fe - its showing me a price of only £420 total (you get one night free on a 3-night stay, and 2 nights free on a 4-night stay, so 4 nights from 17th November is also £420).

midweek in November is wonderfully quiet (its one of my favourite times to go to DLP :)) so yes, you'll be able to do what you want, and then your favourites over again, in 4 days in November.

Can I ask where you found these prices please?

We are looking at mid November and the cheapest direct Eurostar tickets are £79 each way (not return), so over double your price...

Hoping I'm not missing something! :D

Hi, I am after a bit of advice. I am thinking of doing a day trip to DLP with my daughter at the end part of the summer holidays. We have been several times before as a family, but this time will be just the two of us, but I need to keep it as cheap as possible, as we are saving for Florida in February next year. I am thinking maybe a coach day trip or just an overnight stay, and two days in park. I don't mind when I travel in terms of overnight etc, but we are located in Norfolk, so will need to leave from there. Any suggestions??

    Hi Everyone

Looking for advice & tips from seasoned DLP'ers

We're off on our trip this weekend.

There will be 5 adults and 4 children (aged 7,7,10,11). We've decided to buy the Annual passes. We arrive Mon 3pm and Depart Fri Morning and are staying at a partner hotel (Raddisson Blu).

Looking for tips and advice to make the most of our trip. Post anything you can think of, I'm sure it'll be useful to myself and other 1st timers.

    Thanks in advance.

because the main park is open from 8am to 11.30pm every night, split up your day and make sure you have plenty of rest/downtime.

Do EMH in the main park from 8am to 10am for the open rides, as after 10am it will be much busier and a few of the rides open in EMH don't have fastpass.

Watch the parades over your first couple of days, then after that plan to have your main meal of the day when the main park parade is on, you avoid the crowds in the restaurants that way.

Avoid eating at "normal" lunchtimes etc - plan to eat early (ie before 11.30) or late (ie after 2pm). Again, this helps avoid the huge crowds in the restaurants and counter service places.

Take time out of the parks in the afternoons (go back to your hotel and chill out/use the pool/have a nap), come back for the parades/dinner early evening then stay until the end of the park day.

Plan 3 or 4 things as a group that you want to see/do every day, and then fit anything else in around this.

You can download and print off the park programme today on the official DLP site, as its now high season at DLP it won't change for your dates, so it will be a huge help in planning your days :).

    Enjoy!
