What a great thread, so much useful info, thank you. Just one question, I am looking at DLP 2 day tickets for August. I've noticed the price fluctuates slightly is it worth hanging on until nearer the time for a better price?

theres no harm in waiting - they're not going to increase in price between now and August. You never know, once high season starts on 14th July, a new ticket offer might appear - even if it doesn't, you'll know what your price is for your August trip.
  • Although I have looked (and looked) at the thread, I am struggling to suss out the best way to go Eurodisney next year.

Planning going from Monday 30th March to Friday 3rd April 2015.
Two adults and two children (who would be 7 and 5 by then).
Official website says with Early Booker deal (4 nights with 2 free
and Kids under 7 go free) at Santa Fe.....£655. Does anyone know how long deals would last for (as another family are keen but cannot commit until September). We are planning to go by train (with Tesco vouchers). Any suggestions would be welcome re price/time we are going/anything else I have clearly not thought of!

the current deal is bookable until the end of September this year - however, not all rooms attract the discount offer - its a set number of rooms in each hotel, and once the offer priced rooms have sold out for your dates, you would have to wait for another offer (which not be as advantageous to you).

You can pay a deposit to secure your price, by phoning Disney on their normal booking line, and paying 15% deposit plus the £16 booking fee. The balance of your cost is payable 60 days before you check in.
  • Thank you so much Ballet Shoes, you truly are a help.

As a novice Euro Disney family, do you think staying at the Santa Fe for four days would be a good choice for two boys (7 and 5)?

yes i do - I love the Santa Fe, its bright, colourful, Cars-themed, and recently refurbished :). 4 nights and 5 days park access will let the boys (and you) do just about everything you want to see and do, and then go back and do favourites several times over.

unfortunately it will be busy - its all French school holidays at the same time, although it will be even busier the following week. Weekends are also a lot busier than midweek days, regardless of what time of year you visit. You'll have to plan well to make the most out of DLP for your proposed dates.

the current onsite DLP offer won't be any good to you, as thats for a minimum of 4 nights. So you'll need to wait for another offer, or have a look at the French version of the site (they may have a different offer which may suit) or consider staying offsite with annual passes for park access. You'd need Dream APs (the most expensive ones at 209 euros each) as there are blackout dates on the cheaper passes for your dates.
You'd be looking at paying around £60 per room per night offsite but nearby for your hotel and breakfast, and I usually fly from Luton to Paris CDG with Easyjet (I live in Notts but the flights are better from Luton). Or you could drive it and take the Eurotunnel. Or take the train down to London/drive to Ebbsfleet and take the Eurostar.
