Hi,
Does anyone know when the Eurostar direct trains to Disneyland go on sale for 30 March 2015?
Thanks0 -
Fascinating thread, i am looking to start summer hols with a trip to Disney with wife and two daughters, the youngest is 11 and has never been to Disney, the eldest 20 & is getting a " freebie" whilst home from Uni. We are not sure whether a 2 or 3 day visit will be sufficient. Travelling by car prior to commencing our summer break on Wednesday 13th. Looking for the most cost effective way to do this - Should we stay on site or offsite? should we purchase Park tickets seperately or try getting an on site package. As we are travelling from the North East we would be in France via Calais for 7.00pm French time on the Saturday9th /Sunday10th hopefully staying in a cheap & cheerful before hitting Disney the following morning. Open to options.0

Just like to say a super thanks to Balletshoes.
We had a superb time in DLP and a lot of that is due to the advice and information provided by Balletshoes.0 -
Hi all,
This my first and forum post so apologies if I get it wrong. I'm looking for help/advise for booking my Disneyland trip.
We'd like to go for a small break either in April or May school break next year. We'd like to go as cheaply as possible and when its less busy (I know this will be hard in the hols) We live just north of London so any form of transport is o.k. for us and we are 2 adults and 2 kids aged 9&7.
From reading through this very helpful thread I have leaned towards driving there via the tunnel and staying at the Davy Crockett for 4nights/5 days ( with the 2 nights free this seems to come out the same price as 2 days so a no brainer.) Monday-Friday ticks the quieter than weekend box and again from reading here France school hols are slightly different to ours so they break up on April 11th and we are the 4th and they don't have a May him so I'm guessing either of those dates would be my best bet for a slightly quieter trip.
The thing I really need help with is my quotes come in around £1000.
Others seem to get much lower quotes even staying at the more expensive hotels. I would consider staying anywhere off site and buying tickets seperately but with just the tickets on the dlp site for 5 days seem to come in at near that price anyway so it seems to make sense to stay at Davy C and get magic hours.
Others with similar situations seem to be getting much lower quotes.
Is mine good? Should I look harder at doing it seperatly? Should I wait for a better deal?
Any advise would be wonderful. Em. X0 -

We go the 11th august. 6 of us (3 adults as eldest is over 12) and 3 children. We are staying at adagio val d'europe, cost us £420 for 4 nights and it is an apartment so can make our own brekky and food for lunch. We stayed before and was clean and decent as a base, plus it is a Disney partner hotel so get a free shuttle to the parks. There is also a supermarket next doorWe did 3 days last time which was just right. Doing 3/4 this time so not rushing about and getting the annual passes (hopefully as never done that before) as get a 20% discount if you are a family, for up to 5 passes. Works out about £120 each? Roughly! And our dates aren't blackout dates for the pass we want. Cheaper than the 3 day passes. We are also driving. (First time as flew last time)

mainly driving questions tbh
1. For anyone who stayed at adagio val d'europe, is there definitely free street parking? Was told there was but this was about a year ago
2. How much are the tolls on the way from Calais to dp?
3. Are there any service stations on that route as well as only me driving and will need a break
4. Any tips/money saving ideas to get into Paris by train as this is only our second time.
Thanks so much!
Sorry I don't think anyone has replied?
Just got back last week and can answer some questions:
2 - Toll is just under 22 euros one way.
3. plenty of service stations on route. I would recommend to stop before you get on the A1 as it then gets busier and not as nice for a break.
Can answer the rest0 -
