Do you know what time the ticket office is open until as we get into Paris about 5pm?
Thanks0 -

We've been to Orlando 5 times, 8 is a fantastic age to go. My daughter was 3 the first time we went. We've also been to DLP twice, compared to Orlando, it's pants. We would never go back to DLP, much better to save and go to Orlando IMO. There is more to do in Orlando in the parks than just rides.0 -

Hi just looking for some advice regarding the plus meal plan please. The Half board option. We are going in December and there is 5 adults one child.
It mentions a tea time treat, what is this please?
Any recommendations on restaurants in this plan for an 8 year old who is quite a fussy eater?
Thanks0 -

They did say that once you've done Orlando you'll never go back to Paris.
We plan to stick with Paris until DD is at least 10.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -

I don't know about that. We've been to Orlando many times, in fact we are vacation club owners. That aside, we pop over to Paris now and then (paying cash not points), we were there just last week for a few days.
It's different but I really don't know why Paris gets such a bad rap. Some of the rides are better than their Orlando counterparts, thunder mountain for example. There are a couple of new rides in the Studios. I loved the crush coaster and the ratatouille ride was fun.
In my opinion as long as you go to Paris without expecting to arrive in Florida you'll have a perfectly nice time.:A

There doesn't seem to be the same atmosphere at DLP as there is in Florida. I think the weather makes a huge difference and the staff at DLP are not quite as accomodating as they are at WDW in my opinion. I gave it two chances, wouldn't go again !
The bigger choice of Disney parks there also makes it a much better holiday for us. Animal Kingdom and Epcot are 2 of our favourite parks there.
Then there's Universal and Islands of Adventure, Kennedy Space Centre and the beaches, but thats another thread topic !0 -

You're absolutely rightone major difference is the atmosphere. We didn't get wished a magical day once last week:rotfl:And of course there are lots of extra parks in Florida. We love it there.
I guess what helps us is that we do other stuff too when we go to France. If you like parks, Parc Asterix is great. We go to DLP with a different attitude, the American's in general are great at customer service and selling a brand. They are fantastic at the magical experience. The European's not so much. But, for us, Paris is a fine place to visit as long as you don't go expecting Florida.:A

Trouble is, we did Florida twice before we went to DLP ! I love Paris though, just not DLP.0
