Hi I wonder if anyone could tell meif it will be busy on the 12th November this year in Euro Disney? I realise there is a bank holiday the day before but not sure if the rest of the week will be busy. Thanks for any help you can gjve me:beer:0

I want to book a 3 night break during the October half term. The current deals with DLP, which expire on the 17/8 include half board and free kids under 7. For my family this equates to around £950 for the Santa Fe hotel. Would anybody know whether this is a good deal? and, would anyone know what the next raft of deals will be? I know its a long shot, but i havent quite saved enough for the full price and didn't know whether to wait or not - if that makes sense?!?
Thank you for any help you can give0 -
Can anyone recommend some current good deals for Disneyland Paris. I am hoping to take a family of 5, around 29th August.?0

Apologies if there's any mistakes as I'm on my phone.
I've just had a text to say the babies passport is being printed and now I'm in a bit of a rush to get things booked.
The baby still has a drink of milk in the Am and pm, is milk readily available to buy in the Disney village/hotels?0 -

Yes, it will be more than busy. We went on this weekend the first time and I have never seen anything like it, we could not even walk with the buggy there were SO many people. A complete waste of a day, people will go there for the entire weekend. I would choose the week after this tbh.0 -

Cows milk? Yes, all the hotels sell cartons of milk in the shop and there is also a McDonalds. Babies milk though? Not that I know of.0 -

Honestly? No, I would not pay that. How much is the break without food? Breakfast is already included and I thought the food was mediocre with the vouchers, we always eat at non-Disney food places where it is better (although more expensive I grant you). A break in the Feb half term with free kids was around £350 for 4 nights in Santa Fe.
Does that price include travel though? You do not mention this. if it includes the train or flights I would go for that.0 -

No way is 8 too young for Orlando, we have been every 18 months since the kids were 3 and 4 - they are now 10 and 11. Sure you cannot go on everything but when they are young you do the rides for young kids, when they are older and their tastes change, you go on the stuff for the older kids. Each time is a different experience. if you wait until they are old enough to go on the big rides, they'll be too old for the smaller rides.
ETA: Disney IS Disney, the characters, the small rides it really is aimed at little kids. If you go just to ride the big thrill rides you'll come away feeling very disappointed as there are very few. This is how we felt on our last trip, the kids did not appreciate Disney for what it is, were not interested in parades and shows, and this spoiled the magic for me if I am honest. I realise all kids are different but when we go back to Florida we will not be going to Disney, I would rather spend the £1200 ticket price on something else. We are going to DLP to go on the rides we could not before, Space Mountain and Indiana Jones, however Crushes Coaster and BTM are the best coasters Disney has to offer IMO, even R&R seems different and better.0 -
I don't know about that. We've been to Orlando many times, in fact we are vacation club owners. That aside, we pop over to Paris now and then (paying cash not points), we were there just last week for a few days.
It's different but I really don't know why Paris gets such a bad rap. Some of the rides are better than their Orlando counterparts, thunder mountain for example. There are a couple of new rides in the Studios. I loved the crush coaster and the ratatouille ride was fun.
In my opinion as long as you go to Paris without expecting to arrive in Florida you'll have a perfectly nice time.
Agreed, we are going back as the rides are different and it is nearer home. And with flights to Florida now topping over £1000 each in the school holidays I think it is becoming more and more inaccessible and this gives kids a taste of Disney. You can do it cheap enough if you are not fussed where you stay. Our last Disney tickets for Florida cost as much as a 4 night/5 day stay in the Disneyland Hotel, breakfast, plus admission to both parks in Feb half term. I could not even get 2 of us over to Florida. Lots of people simply cannot afford Florida now as a family of 4 needs at least £5000 and you can easily do DLP for 3-4 days for £600 if you drive.
As for the staff, some of the other guests are simply awful with no manners, if you worked with people day in, day out like that, you;ll not feel magical either. It's also cold a lot of the time and they have to stand in the cold.
Each place has it's own merits but DLP is what it is, if you go expecting Florida 9and great food, LOL) you will be disappointed, if you go to have a great time and to eat chips for the entire stay, you will not be.0 -

Hi, thanks for the reply
The price doesn't include transport and there isn't a choice on the Disney site to exclude the Half Board.
I thought it was rather expensive but wasn't sure if it was the 'best' price available0
