  • you can just pay the difference in price between the fantasy and Dream and upgrade your son's pass to a Dream for the rest of its validity. You just do this at the AP office inside the main park.

So if i got it at 39euros i would need to pay 140 euros

Also do you know about the 65 euro pass on ce multi?

I think dream passes cost 209 euros each now so you,d pay 170 euros to change your son,s fantasy pass to a dream.

As long as the cemulti deal u see for a 2~day ticket doesnt state its only for french residents, u can get them and use them no problem.
  • does it have to be October half term week? If your week is the one at the very end of October, you're sharing it with all of France and most of Europe, so its a very busy week, and also why the onsite hotel prices are so expensive, its a peak season week at DLP.

    Hi
To fit in around the childrens school holidays the only time we can go is sometime departing between 18-23 October. I ideally would like to go 20-23 October. I think perhaps an offsite hotel would be a better deal, i have looked at the Magic castle hotel and that comes in around £355 B&B. alternatively I could defer the trip until the February half term (16-20 feb) which would perhaps be a quieter time to go??

    Hi All,

Looking for advise, Looking to take the kids to Disneyland Paris from 30th Aug return 2nd. Looking to drive from London .

I am thinking of taking the ferry One way and the euro tunnel on the other way just to have the experience of both.

Looking to at at Residhome Prestige Val d Europe its 4* and seems to have decent reviews.

SInce we ll be driving , we ll probably wont be able to do anything on the 30th so planning on going to paris on Sunday and taking the boat tour @ £6 each and then some sightseeing in Paris throughout Sunday and then use the 2 parks 1 day ticket at the Parks all Day Monday to return back to London the next Day.

Can anyone advise for or against my above plan.

    Thanks in advance.

You'll get a better crossing rate in just eurotunnel or ferry return not one way and you could use tesco clubcard points for part payment on the eurotunnel. you might want more than a day for Disney too
  • unfortunately neither of your children qualify for free onsite hotel places for DLP, so thats why your quote is expensive. Have you tried quoting for one adult only on the package, and then seeing how much cheaper it would be to add the 3 others in your party to the Davy Crockatt ranch on arrival (and pay local tax only of around 3 euros per night per person) and buy annual passes when you arrive? Remember to look at the room type of the package you are being offered on the DLP site too, often you can change the room type and save some money that way.

DLRPMagic has a great page on their website explaining all about annual passes, including the prices etc. As you are intending staying in an onsite hotel (Davy Crockatts counts as onsite) you could buy your Francilien annual passes (the cheapest ones) a couple of months in advance of your trip direct from DLP by post, and these would serve as your park tickets for the entire duration of your stay. Blackout dates on any annual pass don't count if you stay onsite (but Francilien passes have 2 non-contractual dates too, so thats why you'd need to buy them in advance through the post from DLP before you arrive if you choose those ones).
Thank you so much for you helpful reply, I'm off on holiday for a week now so I'll check it all out when I get back. If you don't mind one more quick question?
We were going to go Eurotunnel and drive as a quick look the price was about £50 each way, does that sound about right and do you have to book far in advance to get that price?
The Eurostar seem so much more expensive but it seemed so high (£600) I think I must have been doing something wrong. Thanks, Em xx

the eurotunnel price sounds right, i'd always book travel of any kind as soon as you can to get the best price.

The eurostar is so expensive for your dates because its school holidays.
