I have another concern anyone if you could, as far as spending money is concerned am we better off loading money into a prepay card or changing pounds to euro before leaving and spend cash everywhere.

What would be the best option please. Hotel includes just breakfast and considering we l be out and about most of the time or buy something form the local supermarket for dinner if not eating out, what would be the best way to go about this.

    Thanks in advance.

you can do either - pre-paid cards are widely accepted in the restaurants and shops at DLP. You could split it - put some on your pre-paid card and take some euros. If you have a fee-free debit card you can use the atm cash machines dotted around the resort too.

Only two more sleeps until we are off to Disney! The main park is open until 11pm while we are there. Are all of the rides open until 11pm or are only certain ones open until that late? Also does anyone have any advice about where the best place is to watch Dreams?

some rides in Fantasyland will close earlier, as that part of the park is cordoned off for Dreams to take place over the castle. But all of the rest of the rides in the main park will stay open until 11pm :).

Next to the Dreams production hut, near the entrance to Frontierland, is a good place to see Dreams. So is anywhere really on the hub in front of the Castle. Personally I don't like being any further back than that area, as there are trees and lamposts on Main St USA which will obstruct your view.

not really to be honest, i see no discount at all there, that looks like just a standard brochure price? what dates is that for?

eta - yes, just checked the DLP site for the UK, thats a standard package price with no discount. On the French version (l'autre regions) of the same site, the same dates and same package does have a discount currently, so its a total of 361 euros (around £286 converted to sterling). Thats more like a price I'd expect to pay for DLP onsite in November for 2 nights.
Anyone from any country can book on any country's version of the DLP site - so if you want to book that just let me know if you have any problems. Best to contact your bank first and let them know, as its classed as a foreign transaction (just so they don't block the transaction) and when you complete your personal details, put in your address as usual, but don't try to change the country - leave it at France. All your booking confirmation comes to you by email within 48 hours of booking, nothing is posted out to you, so the address not being completely correct makes no difference. I booked this way from the UK earlier this year.

Going very soon (eeekkk!!!) and having some last minute, irrational panics over silly things, so if anyone can offer advice i'd be grateful!
    - staying at Santa Fe. What time is a good time for breakfast, taking everything into account (busyness, EMH etc)
    - Are there kettles in room at Santa Fe
    - Presume brek is continental (fine by me!)
    - any recommendations for restaurants for dinner?? Would you recommend booking? Kind of planning on having big brek (maybe sneaking brek bits for lunch ssshhhh!) then meal for dinner
    - sure the kids will want an ice-cream, any good ones???
    - can credit cards be used in all restaurants/stands etc??
    - the park is open til 9.30 (according to DLPmagic site) is that the time Dreams starts? Any tips for keeping going all day!!! Think i'm going to need a holiday after this!!

Any other tips gratefully received x
    Make £10 a day challenge = Aiming for £100 a month
    May - £100.68/£100 (£80.68 cash & £20.00 vouchers)
    June - £121.04/£100 (£91.04 cash & £30.00 vouchers)
    July - £22.11/£100 (£22.11 cash & £0.00 vouchers)

if you want to do EMH, get to breakfast before 7.30am - its by far the quietest and most pleasant time to have breakfast at most of the onsite hotels.

no, but you can ask at reception for one

    yes, continental breakfast

if you want to do cafe mickey, yes, definitely book that. and if you want to eat at a specific time, you might want to book in advance, save you trying to get a table at a busy time with hungry kids :).

gibson girl ice cream parlour in the main park
    -

restaurants and shops yes, not at the stands though - take some cash for those.

yes, dreams will start at 9.30 if thats the official park closing time.

i can't do all day from 7.30am to after 10pm every day, so I have to prioritise ie do EMH one day and Dreams if I can push on through, then the following day don't do EMH, go into the parks later etc. You might even find you want to have a break late in the afternoon back at your hotel (I can nap for Scotland at DLP given half a chance) then head back into the parks around 5 or 6pm until the end of the park day and Dreams.

Thanks so much balletshoes, really appreciate your reply.
Do you 'rent' the kettles or just borrow them?
Any value for money sandwich places (incase hubby is too embarrassed by my brek taking!!) or supermarkets?
Will probably do buffet meals - any must-do's or must avoids??!! Quite fancy Agrabah Cafe!
    Thanks again x
