Disneyland Paris/EuroDisney - Questions & Answers

Hi - Would you say the meal plan isnt worth it? We got the 2day 2night free so am now looking at what to do for meals.....
I have been thinking about the same question recently. So here is what I came up with and I hope it helps.
I explored menus at the http://www.dlrpmagic.com/planning/dining/restaurant-menus/
I am travelling with a 3 year old and worry about what she will eat, so even though it would have been possible to spend less by avoiding buffets, I came to the conclusion we will prefer the buffets because of her. So it would be around €26 per adult with drink and 13€ for my daughter.
For my dates I am being quoted £372 for 2 adults and one child in full board for Standard meal plan for 4 nights, that is 46.5£ per meal for the 3 of us. Given that buffets are at least €26 with drinks, it seems like good value and I am getting the drinks, afternoon pause gourmande, and the child for free in the buffets by prebooking a full board meal plan. I can't really justify the extra 100£ or so for the PLus meal plan, though.
If my daughter were older we would definitely try another option and resort more to fast food.

Dear experienced DLP travelers,
I have mostly made up my mind and am looking at the 2 free nights with 2 paying nights offers for winter 2014-15. Then I will add a meal plan, standard full board for about £370. I have a few quick questions about the booking process and deals:
- if I book now the room, I need only pay a 15% deposit, right? I need to to this over the phone, not online, right?
- 60 days before the dates, I need to pay the rest over the phone. Do I get an email as a reminder? I can add the meal deal then, right? Is the price likely to go up for the meal deal?
- in terms of the 4 for 2 nights offers, how likely is it to find a better offer between now and winter 2014-15? if a free meal plan comes up, can i add it to the existing reservation with 4 for the price of 2 nights? Or do I need to opt between the 2 offers?
- can I find better offers elsewhere for disney hotels?

Evening all
Only 2 more sleeps then we set off on the road trip to DLP,kids are nearly as excited as me!
We are going to arrive on Wednesday after 1800 local time, and I've seen that the ticket office closes at 1800 and then reopens at 1000. We need to buy our Fantasy AP's on the Thursday morn...am I right in thinking we will have to wait till 1000 to get them?
I suppose I am asking if there is a way to get in and buy them at 0800 when the park opens, or after 1800 the night before... Wishful thinking I fear, but it would be handy!
Thanks in advance.0 -
Thanks, we are trying to work out the best (and most economical) way to do this. Is it worth staying at one of the Disney hotels, I'm guessing it would be a better overall experience? And if we did stay on-site, can we book without getting the park tickets? We want to get the annual passports.
Were going 12-19th sept if you need a sponsor for your annual pass you'll get 10% off as we have a current annual pass.0 -

Can anyone please give as advice on the best thing to do about tickets?
There are 3 of us (2 adults 1 Child) staying at Explorers and visiting the parks for 2 days in mid August. We have 2 x 1 Day tickets from Tesco vouchers and need to purchase 1 child 2 day ticket and 2 Adult 1 Day tickets
Is the best bet to buy these online before hand or get them either at the Park ticket office or at the hotel (thinking buying in Euros might be cheaper due to the fx rate)

Hi few questions if poss as we go in 13 days woo
mainly driving questions tbh
1. For anyone who stayed at adagio val d'europe, is there definitely free street parking? Was told there was but this was about a year ago
2. How much are the tolls on the way from Calais to dp?
3. Are there any service stations on that route as well as only me driving and will need a break
4. Any tips/money saving ideas to get into Paris by train as this is only our second time.
Thanks so much!0 -
Hi there
totally new here but been lurking and reading up on all this info so thank you so much.
we are looking to go to disneyland paris next summer, can anyone tell me the best time to book for june/july 2015?
Its for 2 adults 2 children (will be 2 and 6) and can go anywhere from 26th june, I can check prices now and it comes about £860 for 4 nights 5 days sequioa hotel but I ideally need it cheaper to make it possible for us.
any ideas when the deals are released or sales happen for summer?
Thank you0 -
Hi, im looking to book Disneyland paris for next easter, so far ive got it to £655 for 4 night for 2 adults 3 children (1,5,7), problem is I dont have the full amount and would need to leave a deposit, whats the best way of booking without paying the full amount.
Also, that price is for the santa fe or cheyenne, which is best? We cant really afford any other hotel as we have 5 passports and travel to pay out for too.

i think you would need to ring to pay a deposit. if you book via website you have to pay full amount.
