hi there
maybe b a stupid question but asking anyway
we go to dlp on 11th nov staying in santa fe for 4 nights
2 friends who dont no each other have said we will be upgraded into the newport free of charge wen we get there
"this is the norm"
anybody heard of this ????
cheers
this is absolutely not the norm - the Santa Fe has been refurbished and is actually in better shape than the Newport Bay Club now. The only way you will be upgraded to the Newport Bay is if the Santa Fe is overbooked when you check in -and I've not heard of that happening for a while.
However, you are checking in on a very busy date (11th November is Armistice Day, a huge public holiday in France and one of DLPs busiest days). Its not beyond the realms of possibility that you may be upgraded because of overbooking, and if you are, it will be to the Newport Bay because its the largest onsite hotel at DLP. Personally, having been upgraded from the Santa Fe to the Newport Bay Club on arrival once, I'd choose to stay at the Santa Fe .0 -

i can't help with a website for paris accommodation i'm afraid, hopefully someone else will come in with some ideas for you.
definitely book a transfer for that arrival time in the evening - we unexpectedly had to get a taxi between DLP and the airport this year and it cost £100 by metered taxi . look at rstransports, ezyshuttle.com, interprestige, and tioshuttle. They all have websites and you can get quotes from all of them.0 -

you may find Monday and Tuesday very busy as local guests will have a long weekend for the public holiday. But your last 3 days should be fine. If its very busy on your first couple of days, concentrate on the various shows in the studios park, and use Extra Magic Hours each morning. Don't worry if the queues are too long to get many rides done on Monday or Tuesday, you'll have time to do them over and over before you go home.
