i havnt been abroard for nearly 10 years now. do people take cash or travellers cards? although to use them in shops etc, i think they have to have the master card acceptance mark. not sure if id be able to use this in disneyland?
thanks
i don't spend loads of money at DLP, so I just take cash, and if i run out, i use the cash machines inside the parks.
i wouldn't take travellers cheques, and if you're staying in an onsite hotel you can register your debit or credit card with the hotel then use your hotel ID to charge your souvenirs and restaurant bills directly to your account (they only take the transaction from your card either at the end of your trip or when your balance goes over a certain limit)0 -

From Gare du Nord take the RER B or D to Chatelet Les Halles, then the RER A 4 to Marne La Vallee Chessy.

We never take much cash abroad as the exchange rates are better using our credit cards (0% exchange on foreign currency use) and DLP accept Mastercard and Visa (don't know about Amex), I think Mastercard are the official payment card/sponsor but they definitely do accept Visa too."Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it": Ferris Bueller

ah - i wouldn't use them for one-day park tickets, for 2 reasons - first, you have to pay an admin fee of 14 euros to join that site for a year, and then another 7 euros or so to have the tickets sent out to you in the post (so really your park tickets are costing you another 10 euros each on top of the advertised price with them). Plus they have no e-ticket or print-at-home ticket option, and it can take up to 2 weeks for them to post the tickets out to you, which is cutting it fine for you receiving them before you go.0 -
Ok thanks, so what is the cheapest option for a 1 day ticket on 4th December? We only want to go to the Main park and probably won't get there until 3.30 but it is the parades / ambience that we want so 3-4 hours should be ok?
We have to leave at 4.00 the following day so I think that it will be better to go in late the previous one? Dictated to by Eurostar costs for timings.0 -
thanks both for your replies! youve been very helpful
we dont have credit cards, only visa, but shouldnt need too much cash as we are going half board. thanks for the charging gifts to hotel tip!!
