Once again, thank you so much balletshoes :T

Annual Park passes arrived last week, Eurotunnel and Dream Castle hotel all booked, leaving on Wednesday morning - our 6 year old daughter doesn't have a clue :j

We plan on chilling out at the hotel when we arrive on weds afternoon and spending Thursday and Friday at the Parks. As we check out on Sat morning, we will spend half a day in the parks after we check out, and then drive back late afternoon.

Couple of other questions please Balletshoes

    1. Can you recommend a plan of attack i.e. are there any shows we should definitely catch? Should we visit each park in any particular order? Is it better to do some things in the morning or later in the day?

    2. Also, not a fan of overpriced rubbish food, any tips on that front?;)

    Thanks again.

    do everything :rotfl:!

Here is the park programme for the next week or so -

    http://www.disneylandparis.co.uk/content/GB/EN/Neutral/system/images/ShowsAndParades.pdf

go into the park for extra magic hours at least once on your trip, to do Dumbo, Peter Pans flight, the teacups, carousel, and Buzz lazer last with no queues (Dumbo especially gets busy after around 9am and theres no fastpass for this ride).

Its not on the park programme, but go to the Disneyland Hotel at 4pm on Thursday or Friday afternoon, there is a special character meet n greet there on those days and its usually a great way of meeting several characters without having to queue etc. Generally speaking, the characters are easier to meet in the Studios park, as its not so busy as the main park.

The food isn't great at your hotel (dinner anyway) so after relaxing a little you might want to take the shuttle bus into the Village (right next to where the bus drops you off at the entrance to the parks). You don't need a park ticket/AP to go into the Village and eat there etc, and there are loads of restaurants to choose from (plus a great Disney store - World of Disney :)).

Overpriced mediocre food is what DLP is all about I'm afraid, Earl of Sandwich is pretty good though. It depends what you like to be honest.

book a shared or private transfer - its far easier, far more convenient at that time of the evening, and will probably be cheaper too.

i've personally used rstransports many times, and the other 3 i mentioned in an earlier post get return guests using them too.

I've just used rstransports, now either I missed them at arrivels or I was at the wrong meeting place, but I rang the number they had on the booking form, told me they'd be there in 10 mins, also got a text off then saying the same.On my return I texted them back to to comfirm pickup, which they replyed.
So good company with good communication and good english speaking drivers.

  • Hello,

My girlfriend and I are going to be meeting up with her brother and his family in July next year to "do" Disneyland Paris. They live in Canada so have been sorting flights out etc hence why we're thinking about it so far in advance!

They are staying in a Disney Hotel with a full package but we're going a bit more budget staying a train stop away so we're buying tickets separately.

I'm just wondering if anyone had any opinions on when we should book our park tickets? We'd be wanting 3 day passes which I see can be booked a year in advance. At the moment Disney are doing 4 days for the price of 3 but these are only valid for 6 months so are no good for us. (we'd make the most of going into the park the afternoon we arrive instead of waiting for the first full day)

So I was wondering if we should just buy the 3 day passes before the 7th November when I'm guessing all the prices will go up? or wait and see if there's another promotion close to the time?

    all opinions welcome!

all tickets you buy now will have an expiry before you go to DLP next year.

Out of interest, how much are the 3-day tickets you're thinking of buying? As you may be cheaper buying annual passes nearer the time (they might be around the same price as a 3-day ticket but you get food and souvenir discounts while at DLP with them, so they might be worthwhile for you).

Have a look at DLPMagic's annual pass information :).
