it will be very cold and very busy. I would recommend going nearer the start of Xmas season instead

Thanks, unfortunately I will be working until 20.12 and my son will be at school until then. We went in August and it was busy, so are expecting it to be again. TBH, lots of people around might just keep us warmer, lol.0 -
I have had a look through this thread but wondering if anyone can give me some tips - first time trip to Disneyland Paris
Going in Feb Scottish Schools holidays - French schools not off so guessing it might be quiet
Want to do mainly the parks then one day in Paris
It seems there is so much info out there I really don't know where to start???The mind is like a parachute. It doesn’t work unless it’s open.:o

this is a really good site to start you off-
http://www.dlrpmagic.com/
and of course if you have any specific questions about your trip, post them and I'm sure people here will try and answer them as best we can.0 -
it seems a bit confusing on best value and I am confused - I have been on Travel Repulic and Expedia etc - it seems packages are all different - is it just me??The mind is like a parachute. It doesn’t work unless it’s open.:o

yes, they are all different, DLP has all different peak/off peak times, days of the week, and seasons.
What exactly is it that you're looking for? Have you booked your travel? Have your dates? Do you want onsite or offsite but nearby? How many adults, how many kids, how old are they? How many nights hotel would you prefer, and how many days park access?0 -
We want to go Sun Feb 9th - Sat 15th - haven't booked anything so just checking we can afford it!!
1adult 2 kids 15 and 12 - want to go to Paris for a day or two and other days at the park
Are you a travel agent;)The mind is like a parachute. It doesn’t work unless it’s open.:o

nope, not a travel agent - just a DLP nut :rotfl:.
no-one in your party goes free at DLP onsite, because you are all aged over 11. I've just run a quick quote through the official DLP website for you, 3 nights/4days in the park, midweek, staying at the Cheyenne or Santa Fe, park tickets for the duration of stay breakfast and one dinner voucher each included for each night booked, it comes to £572 (not counting your travel at all, or your Paris city accommodation).
you could do the DLP part cheaper - midweek that week, as there are no other countries on school holidays, you won't need 4 days in the parks, 3 days would easily do. So 2 nights as above, with 3 days park tickets, breakfast and one dinner voucher each included for the 2 nights, for £376.80.
I can't really help with flights from Scotland, but once you have sourced them you'll have to add another £45 or so each way total for transfers between the airport and your Paris or DLP hotel.
You could probably do it all in 4 nights, 2 in Paris and 2 at DLP.
Or, you could look at booking an apartment or hotel somewhere like Bussy St George or val d'europe - these are both on the main local RER train line between DLP and Paris, so easy to travel to each, and then you'd only have to unpack once for the 4 nights. Look at travelrepublic/expedia/alpharooms etc for accommodation only.
If you did that, you'd be looking at needing park tickets on their own from DLP - these are 119 euros each for the Francilien AP, check DLRPMagic for their information on annual passes. Because these annual passes have non-contractual dates, you'd have to buy them on your first day in France, use them that day at DLP, then do your 2 days in Paris, then you can use the Annual Passes again for more days at DLP (ie your 4th and 5th days in France).
You could also buy the Francillien Annual Passes through the post in advance from DLP direct a couple of months before you go, that way you're not restricted by the 2 non-contractual days, and you could do your Paris and DLP days in any order you like.
I don't know if you can use Easyjet for your flights, but they have a sale on right now which would cover your dates (I got the email today).
