We've all decided this is still the best value for us despite swimming pools out of action. Would the hotel rooms be better than Lodges? Son fancies idea of Lodges, I fancy idea of Hotel!

The total price included flights which were £394, just wondering if I would be better off just having 3 days in the week. I am not sure my 4 year old would be able to do 4 days of walking round and if quiet will get plenty done in 3 days. Been to travel agent today and they got same price so may book through DLP website and get some cashback too. Thanks

Yes, 3 days completely midweek will mean you get more done than 2 midweek and 2 weekend days:).

The lodge rooms and main block rooms are all exactly the same. If the hotel isnt full (i dont think it will be) you can book a lodge room and then contact the hotel just before you arrive to ask for rooms close to reception and you might get rooms in the main building anyway.

Eta~ always good to mention its a birthday trip too, you might get a further surprise upgrade/treats for the kids on arrival.

You would probably get more replies to that question if you ask on the DISboards site for disneyland paris (let them know which hotels etc you are looking at too).

Heres the link to the DISboards -

Offsite with annual passes could be a fair bit cheaper than what i quoted for lara as their party needs dream annual passes ~ you may not(it depends if there are any AP blackout dates). also the explorers hotel is the one to compare in price with the sequoia lodge, they are the same star rating.

its generally a couple of degrees colder in winter at DLP compared with the UK so yes, likely to be very cold in early january.
Cheers, I'd worked out levels of annual pass, equivalent hotels and also level of meal deal depending on hotel. Of course the period i want is blocked out so Dream passes required doing it that way.

That post was better than anything on the dlrpmagic site in how things go together.
I spend less than I earn and if I can't afford it I don't buy it. I'm guessing that makes me a money saver.

Apparently I have become Disneyland obsessed. Not content with having gone for the first time in August, and already having booked Florida for three weeks Aug 2014, I am now considering booking from 20.12 to 24.12 at DLP for my son's birthday (22.12) and Christmas presents.
Does anyone know if there are any actual shops to buy milk around Sequoia Lodge/Cheyenne/Santa Fe?
My son is ASD and doesn't eat proper person food so would have to take everything with me.. I can manage everything else but would need to buy fresh milk somewhere.
I would drive there anyway so can leave to find a supermarket, but would rather be able to pick some up on site.

Oh, and which Hotel would be best.. they all seem to be much of a muchness pricewise.
Is it worth £700odd going for Christmas?
    TIA

if it has to be fresh milk, i think you'll need to go to the supermarkets in Auchan val d'europe. You can pick up cartons of milk all over the place at DLP, but as far as I know its UHT milk (this is the "normal" milk in France).

Oh, UHT is fine. Any milk as long as it's milky is fine. Thanks for that.
