Thanks for your replies :) we might go in May then if the French kids are on holiday from the 4th of July, thats the date the scottish kids get off school.
Is it quieter mid week or is it just as busy as the weekend and is everyday the same or do they have special things on at the weekends?

its much much quieter midweek at DLP compared to any weekend, as long as you avoid French school and public holidays. There is nothing going on at the weekend that isn't also run during the week at DLP.

what dates in May were you thinking of? 29th May next year is Ascension, a big public holiday in France and that day and the weekend which follows it will be very busy at DLP.

yes, price it up separately. promoparcs has fantasy annual passes at only 129 euros each for you adults, and only 35 euros for your daughter. With the joining site fee and postage to your home address in the UK, that would come to around £265 for your park entry (and is valid for one year from your first day in the park, and gives you loads of discounts on food, souvenirs etc, plus access to Extra Magic Hours, no matter where you are staying).

Here is the link to promoparcs -

and DLRPMagic for all the advantages of having a Fantasy annual pass -

The Dream Castle for your 3 nights, including breakfast, is £285 on travelrepublic (you might find it cheaper if you have a look at other sites like trivago, expedia, alpharooms, ebookers, etc etc)

So thats around £550 for your preferred hotel and park tickets if you do it separately.

As for travel, so close to your trip dates I'd guess the cheapest way of doing it for the 3 of you would be to drive and take either the ferry or Eurotunnel.

    Thank you balletshoes!

I have booked the Dream Castle for a very reasonable £279 and euro tunnel return for £109 :j

All I have left to do is book our park tickets. I have been to promoparcs and cannot find the the fantasy annual pass... Could you link me directly??

Once again your help is invaluable ;)

  • Hi all :)

I have a break at DLP booked for 2/4/14 - 6/4/14. We want to travel by Eurostar...does anyone know how much I'll be looking at price-wise please? Can I even book tickets yet?

Also are the meal plans worth it - specifically looking at Half Board Premium as would love to do Bill's Wild West Show, meal with princesses and also at Cafe Mickey.

    Thanks in advance :)

The Eurostar for your dates are already on sale by phone - they have been for about a month, so phone them as soon as you can to book your tickets, they'll only get more expensive the longer you leave it.

No, meal plans are not worth it at DLP, they are restrictive and don't save you any money. Google for billet malin for BBWWS tickets, you should be able to get them nearer your visit for around 40 euros each. At Cafe Mickey order pizzas to share (like Pizza Hut) and don't order kids meals, they are expensive and not worth the money ;).

it is going to be Monday may the 5th, probably do the weekdays rather than the weekend if the weekdays are quieter :)

    :j I am a winner! :j

Thank You to all who post and who make this a great site!

    Hi,

I booked my partner and I tickets to Paris via Eurostar leaving on 17th Oct returning on 21st Oct.

I was thinking of taking her to DLP and maybe taking couple days in Paris it self.

Looked at accommodation at DLP - Cheyenne is around 640. SOmething in Central paris is similar - what would guys recommend is good?

is that £640 excluding park tickets for DLP?
There are loads of hotels in the area of val d'europe, which is one stop from DLP on the very regular local RER train (this is also the train you take into Paris). I'd have a look at val d'europe hotels, and then price up a 2-day park ticket each on fnac, ticketnet.fr, the French version of the DLP site, cemultiavantages or promoparcs.
