    Flights have not been cancelled, and the FCO has not changed its advice but clearly the UK Govt. have concerns about security in Sharm after the Metrojet accident/bomb/missile (choose whichever speculative option you like) The government have advised that flights should be delayed until such time as security has been checked by specialists, as far as I know there are two Easyjet flights due to depart tonight and they have been delayed, if the security experts deem it safe I expect they will leave tomorrow, if not then the FCO advice may change and tourism from Europe may well stop.

    its a Muslim country, any Muslim country is in Arabia as far as most posters are concerned.

    Me, never been interested in North Africa and will probably never go, whereas the middle east like Dubai, Oman, Qatar etc would be fine for me and my family.

    Pakistan, Bangladesh and Maldives are Muslim countries. They are not part of Arabia

    wouldn't go to these either as they don't interest me, Saudi is mostly for Muslims going on pilgrimage or westerners wanting to earn big bucks in the oil industry.
