Anyone considering a holiday there should be fully aware of the increased risk they take.
I love that part of the world but in view of today's attacks it will be the last time I go there for a while.
I was thinking the same thing myself this morning. I won't be going to any middle east/Arabic countries anytime soon.
It's a shame, a lot of these countries have dragged themselves out of the dark ages by encouraging western tourism, countries like UAE NEED tourism to keep going once the oil runs out and it's their own people driving their cash cow away.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

It wasn't obvious to me - I just thought he was ignorant.0 -

It's a few that don't want it, most depend on the knock on effects of tourism to make a living. The big problem here is the twisted version of Islam that the few practice, they are not afraid of dying, in fact they believe that the more infidels they kill, the comfortable and prosperous afterlife they will have, tyhat's why they are so dangerous and can create so much death and devastation, they have no interest in the effect they have on the ordinary, law abiding people as everything that happens as a result of their actions is Allah's will.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0 -

Sounds like the Christian Fundamentalists in the USA and elsewhere... although the main regions where they kill people are Latin America and Southeast Asia.0 -

The fact that everyone else understands the title perfectly well but you don't brings to mind three words.Pot.Kettle.Black.0 -
It's hard to hear much of what is being said in Britain this afternoon because of the deafening words of condemnation and outrage being issued by our Muslim community against the senseless murders of so many of their fellow countrymen and women.
Oh wait ....0 -

I understood what you meant - I also understood that you were wrong. A bigger person might admit to it and learn.0 -
